I stream a lot of football talk. Dale & Holley on EEI, Grantland, Rich Eisen, the one here, Simmons and the weekly OTC podcast on footballoutsiders are played regularly. That said, every now and again someone posts podcast that is interesting that I intend to bookmark but I forget to.

I'm hoping to expand my repertoire, so can anyone please reply to this with alternatives that are worth checking out? Thanks.

doug farrar, anything with greg cosell..
nfl.com has some decent ones with daniel jeremiah..

use to listen to the ross tucker podcasts but i got sick of his BS.

Someone mentioned that yesterday, but all I see is 2 minute ditties. I'm looking for something at least 30 minutes long.

If Kirwan has that and I'm just not finding it, a link would be much appreciated.

Didn't realize, yeah they do smaller specialized spots. If you strung all their predictions spots together it would be almost an hour.

I actually like the NFLN podcasts. The around the league podcasts go 3 times a week. It gives you a more nationalistic view in a kind of 4 guys talking football with a kind vibe that I find entertaining. No on is trying to be any more an expert here than you or me. Also doesn't hurt that one guy is a Jet fans and another a Pats fan.

The move the sticks podcast is twice a week and gives the view of 2 X-scouts (Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks) Especially interesting when they look at some of their old scouting reports and current players. The third on is Dave Dameshek who is an unabashed Steeler toady, but I find him amusing sometimes. Again, another guy who isn't trying to pretend to be an expert.

BTW- It might not be a bad idea to have a sticky page with links to Podcasts, especially like the one with Kurwin and Cossells

Got iTunes? Search football and those yo list recommend other podcasts.

Seconded. Really enjoy the Around The League podcast. The Jet fan Dan Hanzus is an excellent host.

Thanks guys. Ian, I had already reference the PF podcast in the original post, but thanks. Lurker, I don't have iTunes and I refuse to get it. Just call me a stubborn SOB. :)

Usually the biggest issue with stick and ball podcasts is that they are run by "sports guys" who either model it after the terrestrial radio model or are just fairly boring personalities. Even a guy like Simmons who has a large following and really good taste will never have the personality of, say, Joe Rogan who has the #1 male radio show in the country. This is a great thread because I am actively looking to find a football-themed podcast with the quality of shows like JRE, Hardcore History, RadioLab, or Promotional Malpractice.
