I've heard this before--how true is that about Weeden? I mean seriously, he has to be able to throw left.

this is the graphic they showed during sunday night's game:

After reading about how the Patriots scouted that fake punt against the Jags, I'm really not surprised that the Cowboys are doing this. What am surprised about is that a Patriots player actually said that they worked on that play after seeing the video of the Jags' practice. I imagine all teams will think a bit about what they practice when the cameras are on them.

I do not see why this is a "bush league move" as a previous poster mentioned.

I'm sure the coaches are just working on something they don't want the Patriots to know about. Perhaps this has something to do with it

edit - it's not showing his caption, which states "When coach says 'it's time to unleash you' !!!!"

Lucky Whitehead is the fastest, most explosive player on the team right now and I assume the coaches want to get him involved in the offense in a way to catch the Patriots off guard.

Why was there vid of a jags practice?

He might be explosive but he is tiny. Not sure a slot receiver is going to help them all that much.

Another non football player built like a tiny scale model of the immortally buffed Chad Jackson

He is. But there is literally no tape of him in the NFL right now, besides a few punt returns in the preseason.

Gangsta Garrett has taken some huge risks before and and I wonder if he's cooking something up for the offense. Remember the Rams/Seahawks game last year when STL won on those ballsy, ridiculous trick plays?

No.

"through the regular season and playoffs, daily practice (Monday through Friday) must be open to local media (those who regularly cover the team) for at least the first 30 minutes or until the start of “team” work"

Has nothing to do with some surprise or else they would just be running it during the part of practice that is closed. It's a dig at the Patriots.

On the surface the 'Boys maneuver seems petty but I can understand their point.

If you haven't noticed, BB has been much more effusive about what he does and how he goes about it. Rulebooks, studying opponents, etc.

It's almost like hes daring them to copy what he does and demoralizing them in the process because they damn well know that they can't. They don't have the system, personnel, knowledge, process, etc.

"I have 4 Aces....what do you have?"

Lines up with the SI story about teams seeing ghosts and taking (often unnecessary) precautions that they usually wouldn't for other teams. The Pats are already in Garrett's head. But it's not like that offense actually needs to be filmed. Stack 8 in the box and roll coverage between the numbers and toward the right side of the field and they're dead in the water. That said, I'd also prepare for Cassel as well. Dallas knows they're outgunned and may try to toss a surprise in there. Cassel, unlike Weeden, CAN throw to the left.
That's exactly what Biil wants and expects them to do because he had a chip implanted in Cassel while he was here and can control his thoughts and actions remotely because he cheats on every level, even the ones they don't know exist.

BB is so far in their phucking heads it's not funny......well actually it is for us aat least.

ahahahahahahahahahahahahhha ha hahha h ah ah hah ah a hah h ah ah aha

lmao, we're sooooo in their heads

Yeah, I can't remember the last time some team took public measures against Patriot cheating and didn't end up getting shellacked. It's the perfect excuse.

My favorite was Norval Turner locking up the "First 15" script in a safe before the 2007 game vs. the Chargers.

First 15 plays were something like: Run, Run, Incomplete Pass, Punt, Run, Interception for a TD (Adalius!), Pass for 6 yards, Run, Incomplete Pass, Punt, Fumble, Incomplete Pass, Run, Incomplete Pass, Punt.

Awesome stuff from that offensive genius. Game was over before it started.

Actually an insider told me that they are working on a 2 QB set called the TT (twin tower) formation or the TeeTee set.

Cassel throws to the left side + Fly routes and Weeden Middle and right.

This solves deep ball and left side throwing issues and Cassel's pre snap reads.

Weeden can tell Cassel "throw it to that guy!"

Revolutionizing I tell yah.........Yes sah....:D

That's mine as well. My wife doesn't even follow the game that closely, but she was flabbergasted at the measures SD was taking. When we were done laughing she said, "they're going to get killed."

Probably, but I've gotta be honest here: 180 pound speedster receivers don't scare me. The Pats have consistently shut down TY Hilton, which is pretty much the upper ceiling of what Whitehead could ever hope to be. Granted, it's entirely possible that I'm eating these words on Monday, but until he proves otherwise I'm not going to worry much.
