Goodell back at it talking integrity

People who have integrity don't have to keep talking about it.

Exactly, same with people who talk about class all the time

Goodell's methods come straight from Orwell's 1984 book.. its like double speak, he and Vincent just keep repeating it over and over again until the mouth breathing masses are brainwashed into accepting it as truth

They should Tony soprano his house in new England, just blast music and clips from his press conference all night long so that he can't comfortably stay there anymore and has to sell

And if you didn't hate him enough, today he wanted everyone to forget the fact that BOTH the Browns and Lions were screwed by easily fixable errors; and remember that while Network rankings are slowly shrinking, the NFL's ratings are growing. So keep your eyes off the man behind the curtain and pay attention only to what I say while I line my pockets.

Forgive my laziness, but what happened to the Browns?

The team the Browns were playing were going for the winning FG at the end of the game. Like many that day, the FG was wide. However the Browns were called off side and they were given another chance, which they made and won the game by 2 points. However in the replay, everyone but Blandino thought the Browns player just had a very good jump, but WASN'T off side. In Blandino's mind there wasn't a "definitive view".

Now it is perfectly natural for an official to make such a mistake when a player gets that much of a better jump than the rest of his teammates. No shame in that. What IS shameful is lying about it like pretending it didn't happen will make it go away, and NOT doing anything to make sure it doesn't happen again.

BTW- It was the Browns, so I have no memory of who they played. ;)

This moron is still spewing the I word. What a fraud. Why no one calls him on it is amazing to me. Everytime he opens his trap, vomit spews out.

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for Tom. I know him personally,” Goodell told reporters. “As I say, I admire him tremendously. He is a future Hall of Fame player.

“But our rules apply to everybody. They apply to every single player. And every single player expects those rules to apply to everybody. Every coach does, every fan does, every partner, every team does.”

He added: “So our rules and the integrity of our game aren’t because someone’s popular or somebody’s a Super Bowlchamp or not. They’re to be applied evenly. Our teams expect that, and that’s our job. That’s our responsibility. That’s my job. And so, no I don’t regret that. And we will continue to uphold the integrity of the game and we’ll do that as vehemently as we can.”

No regrets? Right.

Our rules apply to everybody?

- Did they apply to Nick Folk when he admitted to tampering with the kicking balls several years ago?

- Did they apply to the Panthers just last season when they were caught on camera tampering with the footballs by placing them next to the heater on the sidelines?

- Did they apply to the Colts in the AFCCG when they tampered on the sideline with the football they intercepted?

- Did they apply to the the Denver Broncos in 2010 (just 3 years after Spygate) when they were actually caught filming their opponent's practice the week before their game? (NE was accused of this, but it never happened; were fined $1 million and lost a 1st round draft pick despite being first-time offenders; the Broncos actually filmed SF's practice and were repeat offenders - salary cap violations in the latter Elway years - and only got docked $100,000 for their violation)

Hmmmmmm, Roger?

That article made me feel all warm inside.

My favorite part (Goodell responding to a question about Hardy's comments):
Because apparently, Rodger the Dodger doesn't, you know, follow actual football. I expect he lies around in his money bin counting his money and watching Duke lacrosse games.
