Goodell back at it talking integrity

It would put this to rest for good, although I would expect some margin of error on the readings, given that during the course of a rigorous football game with Gronk spikes and 300+ lb lineman landing on the ball, it might lose a little bit more air
What everyone is ignoring here is the fact that the *NFL will always stick to the story that Walt Anderson used the "non-logo" gauge, even though he remembers using the logo gauge. So the Pats balls will always appear to have deflated more than the IGL says they should have. They could release the actual numbers from every measured ball and still say the Pats schemed to release an extra .4 psi and 90% of the sheeple will swallow it hook line and sinker.

His words are so cynical that it gets to the point where becomes funny. He and his bros fabricated data, fraud evidence, to serve an agenda and in this process tainted the image of one the icons of this sport. Talk about a HUGE **** up.

He deserves nothing but a slowly and painful death.

Rachel nichols with the question to goodell. Very to the point which goodell evades as usual

I still think it is ironic that the only one in the media with enough balls to go after Goodell in every one of his press conferences is Rachel Nichols. Like every one of her questions, he evades and deflects. At least he didn't pull a "Who's going to pay for it (the Deflategate investigation)? You Rachel?"

I love that Nichols is a huge thorn in Goodell's side.

Interesting scene at owners meetings: Roger Goodell & Jonathan Kraft of Pats having cordial convo. Kraft pats RG on back after it ends.

I wish I had a voting button with a little vomiting emoticon:

That is, a button that means the poster's content makes me sick to my stomach, but not a disagreement or dislike (not a negative rating for the poster himself/herself)

i hate this guy so much...he'll look like an even bigger idiot when he goes crying to the surpreme court. his ego wont let him admit defeat.
That's kind of a good point. If he loses, it'll follow him the rest of his life. "I brought a case to the Supreme Court and lost. In fact, I lost most every case I brought before a court. The American court system must not care about the integrity of the game."

WTH is wrong with BK? Why does he keep being so damn nice to the guy that's ruined the reputation of his team and his HOF Coach/QB over tiddly ****? I honestly don't get it, it can't be that he's trying 'keeping your enemies close', makes no sense in my mind. I honestly feel he thinks Goodell is the victim.
He only cares about the fans, didn't you know that?

so why do we lose our draft pick???
There is a really good chance the Supreme Court won't even accept the case. They don't have to accept every case ( and actually accept only a small percent) that wants to be heard and they may look at the merits ( if it is upheld by 2nd Circuit) and let it stand, effectively neutering the NFL....

EDIT - court gives "writ of certiorari" and agrees to hear only 80/10,000 cases.

Rachel told goodell exactly what Hardy said, and goodell replied by saying that he couldn't comment because he wasn't aware of what Hardy had said

She just told you what he said, rog. Must you dodge every single question that you're asked?

God I hate goodell so much

""“I have a lot of respect and admiration for Tom. I know him personally,” Goodell said. “As I say, I admire him tremendously. He is a future Hall of Fame player. But our rules apply to everybody. They apply to every single player. And every single player expects those rules to apply to everybody. Every coach does, every fan does, every partner, every team does.""

A real journalist asks: Didn't a third party who is completely independent, a judge, rule you broke the rules on multiple occasions for multiple incidents? How do you reconcile multiple third parties saying you broke the rules as you state "the rules apply to everyone".

Or simply, when you say "the rules apply to everyone" does that include YOU?

That's THE question. I keep hoping Kraft has something up his sleeve to expose and marginalize this POS once and for all. Sadly, it looks more and more that Kraft is simply a feeble old man who recoils at the very thought of a confrontation.

The relationship was defined back in 2007. Kraft made it crystal clear to a bully (Goodell) that he is dealing with a p*ssy. The results were all too predictable.

If the 2nd Circuit unanimously affirms the SDNY decision, the chances of the SC granting cert. are even worse. The only "x" factor is that this is a high publicity case.

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for Tom. I know him personally,” Goodell said.

And when someone we "respect and admire" insists on their innocence and there's no proof to the contrary, the natural response is to simply call him a liar and bring the hammer down.

So even after we discover "deflategate" was made up to account for what they perceive as past transgressions, they continue with the same nonsense under the guise of integrity? o_O

If Goodell had any integrity, he would tell everyone what this is really all about. Then he would return the money and #1 pick to the Patriots.

He is just repeating the lie, until enough people accept it as truth; playing on their emotions. That's not integrity! It's a man-sized rat!

Sadly agree, and this is a prime reason why I expect to be finished with the NFL* post - Brady and BB.

I don't think I 'll be able to stomach Kraft's toadiness without being able to marvel in BB and TFB's excellence as the payoff.

**** the NFL*!!!

Every time I hear him talk about integrity I think of Walter White talking about "it's for the family."

The first thing that came to my mind was that backwards notions of "War is Peace" and freedom(s) for "safety & security" bits that we're pummeled with in the propaganda pages that are sold as news.

But our rules apply to everybody except Owners and anyone directly affiliated with the New York Jets

Sorry, had to fix it for Goondell to reflect #integrity he waxes poetic on so often about... :D

When he goes on and on about "the rules apply to everyone", i wish someone from the media would ask this simple, direct question:

What is the actual rule you say Tom Brady violated?

"I must protect the integrity of the game!"
