OT: Jerry Jones reacts to Hardy's comments towards Brady and Gisele (not in a good way)

I'm taking back what I said before. This got me thinking that before I got married I dated a lot of latinas. They are very emotional, passionate, and fiery women. Sometimes they wanted me to get into fights over a perceived insult to their honor. I can picture Gisele telling Tom if coach tells you to run it in 3 times, you audible and pass it 3 times. I want to see you score 7 TDs on these aholes.

Here's hoping that the opinions of Gisele Bunchen aren't taken into account during real game decisions. That would be odd to say the least, particularly when a leader like Brady would be putting himself in the way of what's good for the team and refusing to obey play calls from McDaniels and Belichick.

Tom should have been better prepared. Dr Hook warned us years ago. :)

This is the point. He's the owner of the ****ing team. I don't hear Bendover Bobby saying anything this week.

That's because Kraft has a lot more sense.

Jones desk needs that Lincoln or Twain quote:

Better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt

It looks like Jerry needs a wing man.

Have you SEEN the NFCE?

We may suck, but we still suck less than everyone else in the division.

Fair enough. :D

And while I'm certainly not a fan of Weeden, he might be the second-best QB in the division right now behind Manning. I'd take him over Cousins and Bradford at this point. He's grown a lot since the days of...

I guess I didn't really have to post those. But I love them so much I can't resist sometimes, even when it's not appropriate.

But you're right, the Cowboys could still win the division at 6-10 and get into the play-offs. And I feel bad because I have a good friend who is a Cowboys fan, really a die-hard, so I root for them when I can.

It's especially sad because Jerry has actually been doing the right things the past few years. Old Jerry would have broken the bank for DeMarco, new Jerry showed a lot of discipline. Old Jerry would have drafted shiny Manziel, new Jerry didn't interfere with his football people as much as it killed him. The team is on a solid path, but has run into a ridiculous string of bad luck with injuries, and they just don't have the depth yet to deal with it.

But they will at some point. The program is going in the right direction and so long as Jerry stays out of his own way, that window will still open for a few more years.

IMO pregame banter with an opposing player is one thing, bringing family into it is quite another.

For a guy who has had domestic violence issues it makes it exponentially worse..

Stay "classy" Greg or as "classy" as you can be..

That's it, I'm going to kick the crap outta Jerry next time I see him.

Okay....obviously there are more important things in life to be mad about. But for once, I'd like the Cowboys show some class. Gisele is no trophy, and these public remarks really come across as weird and somewhat offensive

And apparently, I think the Pats agree with me

Is this a reference to Greg Hardy and the Jerry Jones?

If so, I luv it! :D

Press Conference with Rogah..

Question: "Do the comments of Greg Hardy compromise the integrity of the game?"

Answer: No Grasshopper, "it is more probable than not" that they do not. The integrity of the game can only be applied to the NEP...

Question: "Is it more probable than not that Jerry will be sanctioned for his comments??

Answer: No Grasshopper Rex likes players that "fight" and have "spirit" rather than play by the rules..

The commissioner will take no more questions..

Belichickian Miranda rights:
While we don't pay attention to the media, we actually do. The player has the right to remain silent, and that anything the person says will be used (as motivation) against that person or team in preparation of the football game; the person need not be clearly informed that he has the right to consult with a coordination and to have that coordinator present during the game or preparation of that game, and that, if he is indigent, a coordination will be provided at no cost to represent him.

Anyone remember when the preseason Pats announcer said Zolak was 5 and that his wife was a 10? I forget who the announcer was, but it was pretty funny.

Tom Brady’s a big boy. Players (not to mention opposing fans) say all kinds of things, from innocuous to nasty. On an objective scale, Hardy’s remarks fall on the innocuous side. For fans on a message board, it’s something to kill some time with.

But don’t misunderstand. Hardy threw his girlfriend to the floor and into a bathtub, slammed her against a couch covered in assault weapons and strangled her, and said he would shoot her if she reported the assaults. This week he said, “I love seeing Tom Brady. You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game.”

If you think Brady’s just fine with that, think again.

You have to remember that Gisele is not only TFB's wife, she is the mother of his children. I doubt his kids are old enough to read PFT, but I wouldn't have to explain to a five year old why some woman beating thug in Dallas wants to see his mother.
