Goodell back at it talking integrity

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for Tom. I know him personally,” Goodell said. “As I say, I admire him tremendously. He is a future Hall of Fame player. But our rules apply to everybody. They apply to every single player. And every single player expects those rules to apply to everybody. Every coach does, every fan does, every partner, every team does.

Unless it's the Jets tampering...you lying POS....

That article made me feel all warm inside.

My favorite part (Goodell responding to a question about Hardy's comments):

Even though these comments have surfaced on every single major media outlet in the previous 24 hours, Goodell pleaded ignorance.

“I’m not aware of the comments, so I can’t respond to the comments because I haven’t seen it,” Goodell said. “But we have high standards in the NFL, and we expect people to follow them.”

Goodell then chose to praise all the great things that many NFL players do, thereby completely sidestepping a direct question.

You’ll remember that three years ago, Goodell declared that “ignorance was no excuse” for Sean Payton. But Goodell’s own rules do not ever apply to Goodell himself. For Goodell, ignorance is no excuse; it’s the way.

Asked whether the results of the psi readings from future games will be released:

So that answers that - The only reason they will check the psi is not to see if balls decreased (or increased) in pressure, but rather to keep them in the legal limit. I can almost envision the refs checking readings and 'fixing' the footballs every commercial break so as to show that footballs never deflated after a half or a full game.

I see no way they will release the psi readings UNLESS those readings support that Brady deflated footballs.

Actually it's worse than that, it sounds like they will end up over inflating the balls if they don't take physics into account. Advantage Rodgers.

WTH is wrong with BK? Why does he keep being so damn nice to the guy that's ruined the reputation of his team and his HOF Coach/QB over tiddly ****? I honestly don't get it, it can't be that he's trying 'keeping your enemies close', makes no sense in my mind. I honestly feel he thinks Goodell is the victim.

It say Jonathan not Robert. Anyway it's a good OL boys club, not surprising.

Rachel nichols with the question to goodell. Very to the point which goodell evades as usual

Interesting scene at owners meetings: Roger Goodell & Jonathan Kraft of Pats having cordial convo. Kraft pats RG on back after it ends.

Just want to point out that Bob Glauber is in the inner circle and a complete lying sack of ****. He is a former Jets reporter who gets scoops (aka agenda driven lies) from the NYJFL. He was the first to report that D'Qwell Jackson felt the difference in the ball, so you tell me where he got that fake information from. Somehow, though, he is yet another lying reporter who slipped through the cracks and barely mentioned that he made an error that was instrumental in the fake propaganda story about how the whole thing went down. He was also the only writer who said Brady is tainted as part of a panel commenting on FrameGate and his legacy, with the other seven writers basically laughing at the fake scandal. He penned several articles basically comparing Brady to Lance Armstrong.

This guy's underwear reeks of Roger Goodell's cologne and Mike Kensil's aftershave. Sorry for the terrible visual, but hopefully it reinforces my point.

Notice who broke the story without even talking to the player himself to confirm:

Roger taking about integrity is like...

Dom Deluise talking about exercerise routines.
The Pope talking about perfecting the art of cunnilingus.
Justin Beiber talking about musical appreciation.
Keith Richards talking about "everything in moderation".

I would like to see Roger Goodell do something socially outrageous and get publicly shamed in a deeply personal way, to where he has to quit and go into hiding for the rest of his natural life.

For his first appearance in ages that was a totally underwhelming performance. For someone who is press trained, has had 9 years in the spotlight, and has an army of spin doctors and public speaking coaches, that warranted a resounding F Grade. Is it possible that he is regressing, even drowning as he clings to the "integrity" lifebelt?

DEAD MAN WALKING?

i hate this guy so much...he'll look like an even bigger idiot when he goes crying to the surpreme court. his ego wont let him admit defeat.

so why do we lose our draft pick???

So in the AFCC game it didn't matter if they were not proper, because the sting operation was more important.

He can suck it.

The fact that he still has a job makes me want to rip my eyes out of my head and stick them in my ass to make sure I'm not dreaming.

Because...isn't that the way they say you prove you aren't dreaming?

Wait. What?
