Match made in heav...err... hell. Greg woman-beater Hardy and Jerry glory-hole Jones.

If she is there I am sure she will have protection from some former Navy SEALs...or maybe The Hulk.

it was a weird and creepy thing to say, talking about another players family member(s) is out of line. I read Brays comment about it, "i really don't care about Hardys personal feelings" he didn't sound very happy about what hardy said.

If they are anything like her bodyguards that made swiss cheese out that jeep full of paparazzi she's in good hands.

I'd love to see Brady call a draw play first call and have the OL chip Hardy and then let him in. Then Brady drills a 90 mile an hour fast ball right into this dink's Adam's Apple. Case closed. Next?

He's trying to get into Brady's head. It's gamesmanship by a guy that probably knows his team is about to get throttled. As I said in another thread, I'm sure this isn't the first time that Brady has heard an opponent make some creepy/pervy comment about his supermodel wife.

What a weird dude. I think he was trying to pay Tom a compliment but the way came out is inexplicable and just odd.

Wrong.

If you see the rest of the interview, he wasn't throwing bouquets at Tom. Talking about how expects to see Brady in the same position he saw him last - - on the ground, etc.......

"Cool as crap" ? Was that supposed to make TFB feel good in case he misconstrued the predatory comments on his wife and friends?!
Diplomacy is not this man's forte.

Greg Hardy and Janay Rice would be a perfect couple.

Too far?

Jason Garrett said the Cowboys addressed Greg Hardy about his comments regarding Tom Brady's wife. That's not what they want.

Garrett said Hardy's comments are not how we want operate as an organization

Garrett on Hardy: we want to distinguish ourselves with our play, not with what you say ... He understands that now.

As long as we've known Jerry Jones, he has always been so reluctant to give any type of controversial quote or run his mouth like an idiot. Also, if I had won a single playoff game in the last 20 years, I think I would rather distinguish my team by the colorful personalities of players rather than on-the-field play.

What about the media member who asked him about bortles's wife ? Why dont his media brethren call him out on that line of questioning ?

Great response. I hate this league.

Great response. I hate this league.

The worst part to me is that if a woman had asked a question about Blake bortles wife, guys would be saying it was further evidence that woman don't really care about football

When I first heard what he said, I didn't think it was too bad. But as I see more of the interview released, it is pretty creepy. AND how come Mr. Integrity isn't all over protecting his mighty shield? Isnt this prohibited? .....This world really is a mess. And one of our sanctuaries from this mess is becoming part of the mess. The best coach in the league is fined for touching a ref, but a player can make unprovoked comments, about the most disciplined player in the leagues, family. It is beyond sickening.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...nfl-are-not-just-tasteless-but-very-troubling lambasts Hardy, probably fairly, but at more length than I care to read.

But for this thread, my spin is that Hardy is generally an ass, and that this stuff is not really Brady-specific. I think Brady neither does nor should distinguish between particularly obnoxious opponents and more normal ones; he wants to destroy all of them. Further -- by the nature of his position, he's playing against teams (or at least defensive units), not individuals.

Now, maybe he particularly enjoys the occasional opponent, such as Jason Taylor.* But I doubt he ever spent much time worrying how to, for example, stick it especially hard to Bart Scott.

*Reminder: Taylor is widely assumed to be the guy who cast a vote for Brady as "dirtiest player in the league".

Of course Hardy is jealous of other players wives

They're much more attractive than his girlfriends

Of course that could be because Hardy beats them senseless - kindof ironic in a way

There you have it folks - Greg Hardy - Roger Goodell's hand picked spokesman to kick of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month
