Yeah, I remember Denny Green in a postgame interview saying something to the effect that Moss was running something like a 4.15 IIRC...

He really was. One of my friend's brother played for the Vikings during the Moss era, so I followed them quite a bit in the late 90s and early 2000s. They were my NFC team, basically, and as a result I got to see a ton of Moss's early years. It was pure insanity- the kind of thing where even as a teenager I realized that I might be watching a once-in-a-lifetime type of event. As great as Moss was with the Patriots, he was already on the downswing by the time he got here. His peak was just so good that his downside still put him solidly in "one of the best WRs ever" territory.

What really sucks is that the Raiders years are what should have been his peak. We saw him be a GOAT candidate on his way up (Minnesota) and on his way down (New England) but we never saw the peak of what he was capable of because he spent those years stuck in one of the worst offenses ever assembled. Still bugs me to think about - if he'd come to New England in 2004, he and Brady would've done things that basically defy comprehension, even more than they did in 2007.

If he hadn't spent 75% of his career making guys like Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, Todd Bouman, Andrew Walter, Daunte Culpepper, etc. look competent, I firmly believe he would be universally regarded as the GOAT WR.

if stafford pulls this off ( which he wont, bound for a devastating INT ) it would be the biggest win of his career.

seattle's offense is so mediocre...no lynch but it doesnt matter since their line stinks.

After watching the Patriots its difficult to watch some of the crap other teams try to pass off as professional football. Some of these games are just painful. We are so spoiled and so fortunate.

Detroits offense sucks

How is Seattles offense this bad?

graham...waste of $$

Agreed, this is starting to look like Percy Harvin all over again. It's a big deal to trade a 1st round pick, and a big deal to take on a huge contract. Doing both is basically paying for a guy twice. When you make a deal like that, the opportunity cost is absolutely massive.

If you're going to do that, you'd better be absolutely certain that the guy you're acquiring will be a major asset to your team. To give up all of that for a guy who's basically a fourth option in your offense is the kind of stuff that significantly lowers a team's ceiling, and ****s up its chemistry and cap structure for good measure.

i'd prefer sherman. dont thin kam would be as effective in a different system.

huge throw by stafford to keep the chains moving.

BB loves the big nickel so little doubt in my mind that Chancellor would be more than welcome here.

Abdullah's scary athletic, but he has to learn the value of moving forward if he wants to take the next step.

TIM WRIGHT SIGHTING!!

Seattles D is just....not that great this year

once again..lions in position to screw it up.
