We're on to Dallas

I believe Jerry Jones was one of the owners behind deflate gate. I base my opinion on the fact it would not have gone as far as it has without his support. For the same reason, I believe the Maras are culpable as we'll.

As luck would have it, Belichick gets both their teams this season.

Next stop on the Eff You Tour - Dalas Texas. This could be ugly for big D. I say eff them.

wasn't jerry jones giddy when brady was suspened? now he doesn't even have his own qb for this game. i say we hang 50 points on them

bingo...jerry was so happy when tom was happy.
bunch of cowboys hoping brady gets hurt so i hope we annihilate them..

I worry about a game like this for the simple fact that they should dominate. You also have the dolts next and just how much hatred they have for that team.

Any given Sunday...

I am more confident because I KNOW the Patriots under BB understand the truth of that statement.

I'll say this much: there's still no reason for Dallas not to be the NFCE champs. That division is totally up for grabs.

Nah, this is the quintessential Giant year. Mediocre roster with a few uber-talented stars? Check. Slow start? Check. The division falling apart around them? Check.

The rest of the season will play out as follows

1) NY will win a couple games and become a chic pick to win the NFCE and potentially go on a run.
2) They'll then lay a few stinkers against mediocre teams and allow the rest of the division to claw back into it.
3) Depending on the duration of 1 and 2, they may repeat an abridged version of each as the season winds down.
4) Win the final game of the year to take the division at 9-7 or 10-6.

Had the Cowboys beaten NO they still had a chance, but not now. They barely have enough bodies to field a 46 for Sunday.

Oh, I should add that if the Patriots beat them 38-35 I may just crawl into a hole until mid February. I hate that F'ing team.

Brady might have extra motivation to put up 60 points in this game, given how vocal Troy Aikman was about him cheating. It's too bad Aikman won't get to do this game though, as I believe the broadcast will be on CBS.

Without Romo and Dez and with Weeden this game should be a fairly routine one. The one unit that Dallas has which can dominate is their O-line though so hopefully we bring extra men up front to stop the run.
Also, I was pretty impressed with Lawrence last night as a pass rusher and if Hardy comes back, that's a decent d-line but I can't imagine that defense being able to stop our offense.

Bill is going to have a field day with Brandon. He's gonna look like Andrew Luck out there.

The Cowboys are averaging a pedestrial 4.1 YPC and Football Outsiders ranks their run game 12th (not including the Saints game). And some of that is with Romo/Dez, without them it's far easier to stop the run. The point being, it's a passing game with Weeden and a running game that's only above average and realistically probably below average given the state of the passing game. Point being, good OL aside, with Murray gone and the passing game gone to crap this isn't a dominating run game at all. We should have little trouble shutting that down and forcing Weeden (or maybe Cassel) to beat us. And they'll likely need at least 40 points to beat us.

I don't see any scenario in which this game is anything other than a blow out.

When the season started I thought this would be one of the toughest games in the season especially being in Dallas.

I wish Romo and Bryant were playing. It would have been a really good game to watch.

As it stands now it looks as though the Pats will take away the run and force Weeden to throw. I really don't see this being a close game.

I'm sure he'll be tuning in. He has the Seahawks/Bengals game at 1PM next Sunday.

Dallas has been utterly DECIMATED by injuries. Just flat-out decimated. So I don't see the point in going toe-to-toe with the Pats in a full-fledged game. They should just focus on preserving their starters and making it to the Week 6 bye week as healthy as possible. This game isn't worth losing more players.

Dallas might increase their chances by playing this one out in the Alamo.

Who am I kidding, they ticked off the wrong team. Jerry should check his schedule before he shoots his mouth off. :D. My prediction, they'll use the same play/formation about 5 times (with success) in the same drive.

Any thoughts?
My thoughts are that Cowboys fans are the biggest bunch of arses on the planet. They are a bunch of self-entitled jerks who think everyone is out to get them, ignoring the fact that they were gift wrapped a playoff win over Detroit last year by the refs, but also still whining about the Dez Bryant catch which wasn't a catch.

It has been 20 years since they have been relevant, and they are more obsessed with us (probably out of jealousy) than any other NFC, non-rival, face-them-once-every-four-years team.

But it's a pretty nice stadium to see a game in.

There are much better teams to run up the score on than Dallas. Unlike so many other teams out there, far as I know they haven't done anything to earn the enmity or wrath of Pats or Pats fans.... I'm just wishing for a solid injury free game on both sides resulting in the usual outcome.

Babe Laufenberg, Cowboys' employee, played judge, jury, and executioner, on air during a broadcast this preseason:

"I do know this: He deflated the footballs."

Tom Brady didn't know about the deflated footballs? Next they're going to tell us that A-Rod used steroids or Pete Rose bet on baseball
