Great news! Wendell is back!

It will be VERY interesting to see where he fits in, given how well the OL has played thus far. Perhaps a rotation with Andrews, since he's the only guy playing every snap without a backup?

I think they'll play Wendell at guard and we'll start to see BB calm down a bit with the rotation, or if not that, he'll just add to the rotational chaos. Maybe allow for Kline to focus on one side (I'd guess the left), with a LG rotation of Kline/Mason and RG rotation of Wendell/Jackson?

EDIT: I say this and not Wendell at C because my most recent memory of him at G is him turning around the 2014 OL, whereas my most recent memory of him at C is losing us the 2013-2014 AFCCG.

I see a new formation coming in a few weeks:

O-line, 2TE (Gronk/Chandler), 2FB (Stork/Wendell), and Edelman.

I call it the "Who the Hell is Eligible". ;)

I think he takes Kline's spot but I don't wanna cut down on Mason's and Jackson's snaps. I want them to keep developing and with how they have preformed I don't feel we need to take them out to protect Brady.

Felger and Azzhole said he's still out .... ha.

I agree.

They've been rotating everywhere else (including Cannon at both Tackle spots). Why not give Andrews a breather at times, too?

Not sure if its because of the team's "platoon" approach at RG/LG and finding more favorable matchups or its his overall improvement but Kline has been just fine so far.

I'm glad Wendy is on a good path health-wise but....I really don't think they need him right now. He could be an inactive next week vs DAL.

My guess/hope is that his return kicks Kline out of the regular guard rotation. Andrews is doing well enough at C, IMO, that he can hold down the fort until Stork comes back. I was never a big fan of Wendell at C anyway.

Ah. I see his chlamydia has cleared up.
I still think he bought a defective whoopee cushion from Minkman Toys and Nathan Thurm. They can cause nerve damage in upper thigh region y'know....

Wendell's problem at C came when he was faced with a much bigger man directly on his head in pass protection. He was an above average run blocker. WHEN he finally comes back to full speed, I'm not sure how they will play him, but my guess he will improve the run game, and his experience can't help but improve the passing game at whatever position we put him in.

That being said, our ultimate best OL isn't going to happen unless, or until Stork comes back at full speed. Let us not forget who David Andrews is. His is an undersized, under athletic center who has over excelled and done a sold job. But the fact is that he is just holding his own. He is not going to be someone who can dominate an opponent like Stork showed he could.

I assume he will replace Kline as the veteran who rotates in for the rookies.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Kline and Cannon actually been pretty good rotating in so far. I hope Wendell can come in and give Andrews a break and I think he might even rotate in at guard as well.
You can never have too many O-lineman :)

There was a time when people shuddered having wendell in the lineup.

Why? Kline has been solid..
