I respect the Giants (and their fans) for the way they handled themselves in the wins against the Pats. They earned that. At the time I was an AOLe but those Giant fans were good sports. It's hard to believe that they come from the same area as Jets fans.

For those of you who haven't followed my posting career closely enough, I have to take credit for the Raiders continued lousy play. I put a 25 year curse on them in 2001.

Indy is in the all expansion division because the NFL needed to grease the skids for Peyton. Andrews's Luck has been to follow in P6's tracks.

To scott99. If it somehow comes to be that the Jets make it to the superbowl. I know, that's crazy, but hear me out anyway. If it happens you have one choice and one choice only. You root for the Jets. She's your mom for cryin' out loud.

Was that Suh who "accidentally" knocked off Fitzpatrick's helmet with his foot on the sideline? Suh may not have his game back yet, but he' s still pretty sharp with his fake accident routine. What a piece of crap he still is.

Jets manage to beat Washington after the bye... week 7 is battle for 1st. (With Sheldon.) Looking forward to it.

Love to see our D vs the surgical NE offense battle it out. Great test for both.

Awww. Poor baby. Suh is pouting about playing a 2-gap defense:

That’s one reason Coyle had a closed-door meeting with players last Monday to air out grievances. At that meeting, players asked Coyle to change his defense, particularly up front.

Defensive linemen, who are playing a two-gap defense in Coyle’s system, hate it. The two-gap requires players to read two gaps and react rather than simply attack up field as in a one-gap scheme. Coyle listened to the complaints.

But apparently not much changed.

And so when Ndamukong Suh, the team’s highest-paid player, wore sneakers to a full-padded practice during the week, other players noticed. They took it as a sign Suh was making a statement of dissatisfaction over the defensive coaching.

What a trainwreck. They make a turd the highest paid defensive player in the NFL and he's wearing sneakers to practice by week 4. Franchise killer signing. $114 million worth of franchise killin'.

You could see this comin' a mile a way. You might want Suh when he's trying to get paid, but he's darn sure not the kind of player you want AFTER he's been paid.

Todd Bowles trained under Jimmy Johnson in Philadelphia, the king of blitzing. He will blitz and blitz and blitz. That works against some teams, but not against Brady.

He'll identify the blitzer.

It will be important to find someone not covered by their three very good corners to throw to. Maybe a big Dion Lewis game?

Also, I think you can run on the Jets a bit. That will neutralize a blitz pretty quickly.

Yep, and add to that the huge deal they gave to the mediocre Tannehill and Miami is going nowhere fast.

Same with Denver. They'll overwhelm a poor line and/or one not smart enough to see the blitz coming, but for all the accolades their secondary gets, Minny had open receivers all over the place. NE would have put a 40 burger on them yesterday.

Miami is a 3-13 team. Total disaster and I don't see it changing unless a big move is made.

You did that to the Raiders-Remind me to never cross you.

I never thought about the fact that Indy was in the all expansion division before. Wonder what his record would have been if Indy had stayed in the AFCE. Man, so many rule changes to make Peyton look good.

Probably should have been a conversation before he signed about his willingness and ability to two-gap. Both sides at fault.

He was getting turned easily by a single blocker on running plays throughout the entire game. On first and second down passing plays he was getting double-teamed, but that's life--it should have opened up something for someone else. They moved him to RDE on third down passing situations, he was a little more effective. Poor effort to shed blocks, poor effort on pursuit.
