I want the AFC East standings to look like this:
16-0
7-9
7-9
7-9

That way, each of them can claim to come in second, and be "just a couple of players" away from challenging the Pats, and keep making personnel moves to try and fill that gap. That'll keep 'em right where they are for years to come.

Tannehill is not Rogers and Miami should have factored that in when hiring Philbin.
They should have given Bowles a chance .... add to that Dennis Hickey who sucked at Tampa with Tannenbaum who sucked at the Jets and you end up with a trifecta of suckage ....

This one is on the owner Stephen M. Ross who
has had a 95% interest in the team since 2009.

2009: 7-9
2010: 7-9
2011: 6-10
2012: 7-9
2013: 8-8
2014: 8-8
2015: 1-2

I hope the Dolphins don't SUHrender to the Jets.

The Dolphins in disarray? This can't be right. I am sure I heard from experts that the Dolphins were primed to take over the AFC East. Sure, they had no shot at the Super Bowl with the Colts a lock for that game. But this doesn't sound like good info at all.

I'll find out what Mort has to say about the Dolphins.

I just got back from London yesterday. Did not see a single mention of the game anywhere but then again they are in the midst of the Rugby World Cup (in England) and the English are playing Australia today.

Suh's not the issue. He's still drawing double and triple teams. The problem has been that the other guys haven't been able to make teams pay for that.

Listening to the Bill Simmons podcast from yesterday, the guest takes the Dolphins by less than a field goal because the Phins have won in London before and they need to win now. Simmons was thinking Jets because they have a similar defense to the Bills and they'll just blitz the living hell out of Tannehill again.

If they want to fix the dolphins first n for most give up on Tannehill he will never be a super bowl caliber QB

I'm with those who want the Doofins to win.
I despise both teams, but I despise the Jesters more and they have a better record than Miami.

The game over which I'm more torn is the NJ vagiants at Buffalo.

This can't be. It's impossible. ESPN told me a month ago that the Dolphins were going to win the AFC East, kinda' like the year before that…. and, ah, the year before that.

I hope the Jets win so the Dolphins go into full meltdown mode. Then when the Jets get all high on themselves, the Patriots can rip their souls out like a Mortal Kombat fatality, and send their organization into a Patriot-patented two season long downward spiral.*

*see Texans.

Nice thought, but you DO realize the Rats have no souls, right?

good luck to the fish tomorrow morning...hope they win and keep philbin around for a few more weeks. plus, it's always a great day when the jets lose!!

well..for me it's just...uh...it's just too bad....too bad that Dan won't get his ring!!!

<evil snicker of long time Phin hater...>

So basically Miami's experiencing an implosion that mirrors the Jets a couple years ago, except even at their highest heights they weren't even a playoff team. Never change, Miami.

And now I guess I have to root for them to win tomorrow, because Philbin keeps his job eliminates the chance, however remote, that they might eventually stumble blindly into a decent coach.
