Per team source Ravens WR Steve Smith Sr. has 4 broken bones in his back. They will put him in wait & see mode (day 2 day) #ravenstalk cont
That's what I'm thinking. How do you put him out there with that information being known to everyone with the possibility of him taking a hit to his back? I'm not a doctor but I'm assuming that it could only get worse from playing. Guess we will see. Glad I didn't accept the trade for him in the PatFans FF league.Wait and see mode? 4 broken bones in his back? I wonder which ones? I can't think of any bone in your back where you'd be like, eh, we'll just wait and see.
And Michael Campanaro has a herniated disc.. They just traded for Chris Givens of the Rams..
@AaronWilson_NFL: Sources say Steve Smith might be able to play through broken bones due to his high pain tolerance, no decision made yet on long-term status
YEAH OK... ☺

He'd be an idiot. He can do long term damage to his back if he gets hit hard in that same area. Hard to believe that any respectable physician would let him do that.

Captain obvious here, but that's a huge loss for the Ravens...
Fractured ribs are painful, but not as scary as what was original misreported.
Gloating about injuries is sick, could we just not do it?
