Media ignores Steelers caught cheating on TV last night

By this time during the ballwashgate inquisition, there was an investigation underway, leaks by the league, press conferences asking Tom what to tell the children.
There was general chaos.
For this, there is nothing. Maybe someone should send it to Kravitz, and he could leak it!

It seems I have a different viewpoint than a lot of you and I can respect that. I do think (and I believe) that the Patriots organization share my viewpoint on this, that we do our talking on the field and not worry about these other frivolous things, especially careful not to go down to their level.

Bob Kraft approves of this post.

So you don't believe there is a critical mass of disillusioned fans and owners that would lead to change within the NFL front office? It's fine to disagree with a point like that, although I would question the intelligence of anyone who did. Thumping your chest and calling people ****ies that are "below you" for such a disagreement is absurd. Most of us would like all these ****storms to end. The problem is, if they only keep happening to the Patriots, they never will.
No. I don't. I think scandals like this that get over punished because of their high profile nature only give Goodell more power and influence. I think that is undeniable and we have seen it. I think most of you are smart enough to know this but are bucking your god given logic because you have a sandy vag over Deflategate. I think you all sound like hypocrites. You complained about manufactured scandals in the offseason and yet you want another one for Goodell to get more face time for? That makes zero sense.

Everyone quoting me (I have over 30 alerts), please explain how more scandals for Goodell to **** up will "stop the cycle". And do so in detail. Because it only sounds like you're mostly making excuses for still being sore that it happened to the Pats and, because of that, you want it to haplen to everyone else.

So now you want people to stop responding to you? o_O

Here's a tip: don't post in the thread anymore! :p

And how about that fake field goal by the Ravens. Isn't that "deceptive"?

Simple. There's a 1-31 vote for firing Goodell right now. If it happens to the Steelers, there's now maybe a 2-30 vote. The more teams it happens to (and not just the big bad Pats that everyone thinks they had it coming to) the better
You know theres a 1 for 31 vote... how, exactly?

Please rename this the "Three guys argue with Kontra" thread.

Steeler nation would burn down 345 Park Ave if they were put through what we have for the last nine months. Where's the harm in having allies in the war against fraud, incompetence and buffoonery in the league office?

"We" do our talking on the field? We? We dont play the game and are not on the roster. We are fans. We have a right to point this out and hope people notice.

No, I don't have a problem with it. I'm handling myself just fine. It was simply easier to say that instead of quoting all of you. And nah, I'm good. I'm gonna stick around. Now perhaps you'd like to answer the question using details that actually make sense?

You know theres a 1 for 31 vote... how, exactly?
Boy you really like being difficult, don't you? The point is, nobody thinks Goodell is a problem until he is their (the owners) problem. Thus, the more who can see that he's a moron by virtue of him acting like an ass towards THEIR team, the better.

Oh so now you're hoping for a manufactured scandal for allies? Yeah, you'll excuse me if I'm not buying that one. Patriot nation didn't do it and neither would Steeler nation. Meanwhile, Goodell would only stand to benefit. Just admit it and stop making excuses. You want this to turn into a scandal because you don't like that it happened to the Pats and are now looking for a little schadenfreude.

Maybe, maybe not. The fact Goodell made it this far is proof the owners don't care that much. Not sure another scandal will do it.

You're still not seeing it right. The biggest complaint about the scandals was the assymetric and unfair nature that they are applied to the Patriots and not other teams. The NFL manufactures these against the Pats while sweeping worse offenses by other teams under the rug. You inability to understand this while hurling out insults at those who disagree is poor form. Here's a hint, when you consistently feel the need to use charged words and hurl insults in your argument, you're probably wrong.
