Next time the Pats play in London they should bring the Jets along so they can wipe their a55es with them…

Funny thing is Americans consider themselves so much more cleanly than many Europeans because of our daily showers, but when Europeans visit the states they are absolutely positively disgusted by the lack of bidets here. They're like, you clean yourselves how??? Like cavemen.

Maybe it wasn't the design of the paper that offended. For a team that has explored that region extensively on national television with the butt fumble, there is only one brand to carry . . . .

This made me LOL, especially your meme! Looks like the Jets are trying to copy BB and think of absolutely everything on game day. After all, they need to keep the place their heads are going clean! Thanks for starting my Friday off right!

I've spent a lot of time in the UK and have yet to see a bidet there. That said, it is a superior method to cleaning oneself. Not sure how they'd work out in public bathrooms.

I spent two weeks in France this past May. Stayed at three different B and B's and two hotels. No sign of a bidet in any of them.

I think europe is a bit too big to call it one place like that. For instance, here in Sweden you shower every day. And no one, absolutely no one has a bidet.

Of course. This gives me a good opportunity to throw out the old saying that Americans(yes, all of them) know extremely little about the world outside the USA.

It's a story like this that makes me wish David Letterman hadn't retired. I can't begin to imagine what he would do with it, but I know I'd be chuckling for days. Perhaps a top ten list...

The top ten reasons the Jets brought 350 rolls of toilet paper to London.

Here are a few (some better than others). Feel free to add more:

"We all know what happens when they even think about the Patriots."

"They never could get Sanchez' helmet clean after the butt fumble."

"They won't have the New York Post."

"John Idzik got it in a trade for a #1 Draft Pick and they had to use it for something."

"Woody Johnson thinks they use it to stuff the footballs."

"Roger Goodell told them it would cause a rash and they could blame the Patriots."

Well maybe they can use it instead of kleenex for all the weeping they'll do if and when they lose.

I imagine the last things hotels want to do is clean up after Americans who don't know how to properly use a bidet. I can vouch for the fact that they exist in many private homes on the continent. In the US, it's probably the reverse. Hotels that cater to Europeans have them, but rarely do you see them in homes.
