OT: Chuck Pagano's "bone chilling" speech after defeating the mighty Titans

It was embarrassing when I heard it on the radio, I can barely watch 3 seconds, makes me want to cringe.

Didn't this guy survive a fight with cancer? If he did then he has grit and that would be the biggest win of his life.

I like at like 1:03 when he says it's as big a win as he's ever been a part of, the Colt player in the background looks like he's thinking "This guy serious?"

Pagano....won a Super Bowl, did he not? At the very least, he's won a ton of playoff games.

I guess the Colts Mentality of Participation Banners has rubbed off on him.

Is this the grit he speaks of??

Or is this the "true grit"???

I don't think so.. He is 3-3 in playoffs as a head coach.....

Not sure if I feel comfortable mocking a man who's desperately trying to motivate a team through a dysfunctional season -- by the end of which, he'll lose his coaching job.

Pagano is simply trying to live with some dignity while unfairly being held accountable for all the mess around him, that the GM and Owner are mostly to blame for. Don't know if he's a co-conspirator in Deflategate, but I do feel sorry for him...just not his team, and certainly not the managers and team executives who conspired with the League to frame the Patriots!

It sounds like Pagano's a good guy, I recall when Toucher or Rich's wife (can't remember which one) had cancer, he said that Pagano heard about it and called the wife and had a 45 minute chat with her. This was unsolicited and low-key, and Pagano never publicly said anything about it.

That said though, that post-game speech was hilarious. That team is a complete joke, from their druggie owner to their participation banners to their crying after a week 3 win over the Titans. I seriously would be embarrassed to be a fan of the Colts

As a head coach, yes. He was a defensive assistant in Baltimore for many years previous to that.

5-4 as an asst in Balt, 3 years as Secondary coach and one as DC...No Super Bowls though, losing twice in divisional round and twice in AFCCG....

I can't even believe this... Wtf! Why is he pacing back and forth the whole time? He's just ranting and barely making any sense. Anyone else notice they made cuts in there a few times? Apparently that wasn't even the entire speech, just some parts they spliced together. I'm dying to know what the video editor thought wasn't good enough to be shown here... Some of these players have looks on their faces like "I gotta get the F out of this place".

Seriously, the guy beat cancer, but barely beating the second-worst team of 2014 is the biggest win ever? What about when the Colts came back from a big deficit to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs a couple years ago??? Hell, that was probably when Arians was filling in.

God this makes me love BB even more. "Alright good win everyone. But we got a long road ahead of us, alright? One win isn't going to get you anywhere in this league. Let's come back in Tuesday morning and be ready to work on [insert opponent here]."

This is the stuff I say to my 11U team. Are you kidding me? Its a room full of adults...

What are the reactions to the speech from the peanut gallery, AKA the Colts forum. I would hope at least a few of the peanuts are bashing the coach for it.

GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!

Go to church and be a pastor. He should get the heck out of the NFL, he has no feel for the job and its responsibilities.

If I was a player, I would be struggling to hold my laughter in that locker room.

If a BB coached team played like that, he would be chewing them out after the game.

You see the difference in standard?

I couldn't even rate this post as funny, because to me it's almost sad that teams have this kind of mentality in the professional level. Is this the Colts or is this The Hoosiers?

It's this:

That was win 1 of 3 that season for the Saints. So, it's equivalent.

Huh? No, he's never won a SB and he's 3-3 in the postseason.
