ofds of hetting 2016 picks back?

He'd probably have to sue to get them back. He said he wouldn't but maybe he changes his mind? Best case they do some psi checks on other teams' balls and find they deflate with temperature too. That may spur kraft on to sue or thd nfl to rescind.

They are gone even when the dolts at 345 Park Av see the IGL isn't a theory.

Unfortunately I'm in the 0% camp. We're in this weird spot where there's virtually no evidence and, yet, we're being punished anyway. And while Kraft has very little he can do legally, he seems intent on putting forth the most spineless, flaccid, pitiful defense of his organization as possible.

I think he sues and wins.

Kenny, I would love to see this happen and initially I had hoped that it could happen but it becomes more and more evident that when Kraft bowed down to the Almighty Great Comshittener he pretty much threw any chance of getting those picks back away.

I read one of our resident Legal poster which stated that when Kraft decided not to appeal he made it a lot tougher to win a lawsuit. Reason being that the court would ask "why didn't you appeal?"

Anyways I hope they get them back.

Pats will win in 2016 and make the playoffs without that first round pick...BB will trade up with his remaining picks to get a very high 2nd rounder which will be almost as good as getting a first round pick.:D

Since I believe the picks are gone forever, what I would really love to see happen is this: Pats win the SB and trade for the first pick in the second round which would have been our first round pick if DG had never occurred.

The best chances we had was either :
- a rearbitration hearing for Brady that declared nothing artificial happened to the balls to begin with
- a defamation suit that would clear Jaws+Mcally of tampering, have a public apology from the commissioner, then have a public outcry to return the picks.

Neither of the above happened.

It's not about deflating game balls. A coalition of owners were able to take the draft picks to level the playing field and give them a chance at beating the Patriots in the future. They had the chance to do it so they did.
