Something is happening.......(I wonder what all this movement is about).

Mark Daniels @MarkDanielsPJ
Patriots have released Dekoda Watson from the 53-man roster. They also released Kenbrell Thompkins, Chris Barker and Joe Vellano from psquad

The suspense is killing me.......

Cadet cleared waivers. Does he have PS eligibility?

Travaris Cadet cleared waivers.

Surprising.
Did they fall in love with any of the guys in for tryouts this week?
Kenbrell Barker and vellano know the playbook. they will presumably add gus who are less ready .

Another trade coming?

Is Martin PS eligible? Maybe they like him a lot better than KT.

Would they release a guy they just spent draft capital to trade for? I know that it has been done before, but I thought he showed promise. KR is a need.

Watson is a little less surprising but for the timing. Many assumed he would be cut following the Bostic trade. When Cadet was released he seemed safe.

Something is about to go down.

Busiest bye-week in recent history for our team, no? Wonder if it has anything to do with being so early in the year, any replacements for these guys will have longer to get on track than those we could acquire in weeks 9 or 10.

Would be nice if the return on Hooman is Browner.... I can dream, right?

Bye Hoo-man!

just when I've got the pronunciation down, too.

0h oh
man ahh wa new hee

Considering his glut of penalties so far, it might be NO's dream as well.

True! Gotta take the bad with the good....

Mother in law grew up on Maui, she's helped me with the language here. It's actually not that hard once you get the hang of it. One basic rule - syllables rarely (if ever) end with consonants.

So pronunciation is
Ho oh ma nah ma new ee

Although Hooman himself said Oh for the first syllable instead of Ho.

If the Patriots didn't want to keep Browner with a contract they negotiated, they certainly don't want him attached to one the Saints did.

BB praised Watson in his Belichick Breakdown with Zolak. I forget exactly for which play; I just recall him being mentioned. And I haven't watched the Week 3 one yet, if it's even out yet, so it was Week 1 or 2.

Had to have been week 2, I think he wasn't on the roster for week 1.

I guess that Hooman being inactive last Sunday was a bad sign fur him

Saints would keep the signing bonus. Cap hit in 2015 would be ~1.5m. Bigger problem is the 2.75m guaranteed 2016 salary.

I don't believe it would happen, and I agree with you in general. But he did help up last year and the short term cost isn't as much as it seems.
