It also saved the day that we could put him on Chris Mathews when no one else could cover him.

On that note, how come Chris Matthews had no receptions till the superbowl, burnt us for 108 yds in 4 catches, and has again done nothing this season. WTH!

Same reason David tyree didn't go on to do anything after the 2007 SB... they just had their random, streaky games in the biggest game of the year

Wow, kind of hard to believe Dennard is a free agent right now

There has to be some work ethic issues
At worst he was a very good value for what teams normally get out of their 7th rounder

would prefer browner or anyone ahead of fletcher...man, he's terrible.
shame darryl roberts got injured. maybe he can return...

still think bill fools the bucs into giving us verner. we'll rehab his career similar to aqib talib.

He certainly can't return this year, he was placed on the regular IR

McCourty and Butler are solid and can lock one side of the field, Harmon and Richards may contribute in some way, the problem is really the other side. Ryan, Fletcher are all awful. Brown is doing OK so far but we didn't play against elite offenses yet.

Anyway this is a much better situation than 2011 for Christs sake that secondary was awful

Pitt is pretty good

Pittsburg is an elite offense and I think the bills have a real good offense too. Our secondary is fine and will only get better, with the exception of fletcher unless they coach him up somehow.

They're not going to "coach Fletcher up". He just sucks.

McCourty can lock one side of the field? There was a reason he was moved to S. He does not even like playing the CB position. And Butler can't lock anything down yet either. He's good and has potential, but he isn't "locking" anyone down yet.

I think he means Butler at CB and McCourty at S can lock down one side?

Yeah, NE has played a very good slate of offenses, particularly passing offenses. Not sure where the "they haven't faced anyone yet" rhetoric is coming from.

As @The Brandon Five mentioned, I was talking about Butler with McCourty at safety, this combination would allow BB to take away of the game the best weapon of the other team, the problem is the Chris Matthews of life on the other side.

Pittsburgh has a very good offense, not sure if elite this is debatable, anyway they were without Bell and that changes the picture a bit because with him they would mix their play calling, also Big Ben is a great QB but he always throw a pick or 2 against us.

I was talking more about the Packers or Denver of 2 years ago, but the reality is that Denver lost some of those weapons, Peyt can't throw for 20 yards, there's not a lot elite offenses in the NFL right now, I still need to check the Cardinals, so far the Patriots and Green Bay present the biggest challenge for every DC in the league.

The Bills is a good team, but it's Jets of 2009/2010 all over again, elite defense and strong running game, with a game manager QB. I like what Tyrod Taylor is doing, he had a great game against the Lolphins, let's see if Ryan will do well with a QB this time instead of exposing him.

My apologies.
