Remember when Cory Dillon had a high asnkle sprain and another RB was hiurt and we brought in Alonzo something or [Zaroe?] other from Pitt and he was hurt and Dillon volunteered when he should have sat so we could win some games at the expense of the rest of his career [Dillon pogo sticked sideways through the line?]
We had a lot of injuries in 2005, but idf we had a Bolden then, we could have got Dillon back for the playoffs instead of shortening his career. No running back is going to look great with a handful of carees each month, but A special teamer like bolden is great injury insurance and goves the FO time to weigh options, instead of wasting money.
If there's any wrongheaded opinion among some on this board it's that you should have all pro backups at each position.
Backups know how to be versatile. guys that think they should be starters just cause trouble and grumble, don't learn other roles to get playing time and they cost a lot of damn money to do nothing when the starters healthy.
