Homage from Wetzel.

Premature Bowl: Rodgers, Brady on collision course for 'Super' finale

Green Bay and New England are on a steamroller collision course for Levi's Stadium and while there is no doubt a lot of people are tired of these two winning and winning, it would be fitting in an historical context for Brady and Rodgers to square off with everything on the line.

I know we don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but who has not privately contemplated this game?

Yep...Rodgers is a worthy adversary of Brady and is all he is hyped up to be. After 15 years, let's just appreciate that someone else is worthy of their praise instead of a media fabrication (looking at you 18.)

Manning was good in the regular season too.

Brady vs. Rodgers @ Super Bowl 50

:)

Just wait, you'll see........

I'd actually rather have a Patriots/Seahawks rematch. With that one, no matter how the game were to go, the winner will have won 2 of the last 3 SBs.

But but but Brady is definitely serving his suspension this year!!! He will probably just be placed on the "Commissioner's Exempt" list until the hearing in February. Justice will be served! We can't have guys maybe generally aware of something that probably didn't happen playing, even if a federal judge already said he has the right to. We have to think of the children here.

Somebody might win 2 of 3? Does Roger know this? It must be stopped! Perhaps, he has something on the Seahawks? No bother, he can just buy a report to state his case.

Maybe they can punish teams that win the Super Bowl? Or even better- just make the Super Bowl winner from the year prior ineligible (for at least 1 season).

I can't think of a better Super Bowl than the two best QBs of our generation facing off.

Green Bay is the one other team in the league that has the same organizational standards close to the Pats. If it could be comparable to the game last year in Lambeau, it would be worth all of the monies.

It would either be a baton passing, or your no-doubter stamp for GOAT. Lots of very interesting subplots.

Cowboys where my superbowl pick from the nfc until romo got hurt. I need to see more from arizona. The seahags are still there.

Wilbon compared rodgers to montana lol. Its a joke. This guy has 1 ring

Manning was good in the regular season too.

I don't think you appreciate the choking dog that is Peyton Manning. Aaron Rodgers has lost the following playoff games:

2009 in OT to defending NFC Champs ARI despite scoring 45 points
2011 to eventual SB Champs NY Giants, who shut down every QB
2012 to eventual NFC Champs SF 49ers, an insanely good squad that won in Foxboro that season
2013 to SF 49ers, basically that same squad again
2014 to defending champs SEA, who went to their second straight SB and nearly won

Besides ARI, these are all incredible defenses and the teams were completely loaded with talent. It's not like Rodgers stunk in most of these games either; he played about as well as you could expect a QB to play in the playoffs against absolutely ferocious defenses, often on the road.

This isn't Peyton Manning throwing pick sixes, vomiting on himself, and forgetting how to run an offense while losing at home to a 9-7 team that's about to get bounced by forty points in the next round.
