A lot of the time it's not their actual opinion in shows like this. They play their role, and to that role they have to have certain opinions. Because a show where both guy says "Yup. He's great and no one is close" isn't an interesting show for most viewers.

It's the formula for talk radio, too. They want to get people riled up (anger is addictive, honestly), and/or get listeners to believe that they have some contradictory insights to offer, hence they will call in.

Everyone knows that QBs drafted in the 6th round cannot be the GOAT.

Membership in the pantheon of gr8 QBs is based on pedigree and anointment by the media elites.

The NFL* and ESPN are trying SO hard to make it so.

Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck are invited into this exclusive club.

Statistically the top 10 defenses in the NFL in 2014 were Seattle, Detroit, Denver, Buffalo, San Fran, the jests, KC, Baltimore, San Diego and Carolina

Brady's Patriots were 8-2 against those teams last season, including the week 17 game against the Bills when the Patriots sat half their starters

Clearly Stephen A Smith is just saying stupid things to get attention for ESPN to tty to stop the money from hemorrhaging out of that garbage network

Brady was hurt in SB42. He had ankle surgery in that offseason.

Gronk was hurt in SB46. Basically the whole offense.

Nobody cried for the Pats and claimed the Giants had it easy.

No need to get upset about this. This is wrong and very easy to prove.

Over the last year, Brady has shredded the Lions, the Bills twice, and Seattle - all of which Rodgers struggled mightily against. These were ranked among the top defenses last year. Indeed, it is Rodgers who struggles against the top defenses, while Brady shreds every opponent put in front of him.

It's like being upset about people claiming 9/11 was an inside job. It's not even worth paying attention to, let alone getting upset over.
