Stephen A Smith: "Tom Brady Does Not Show Up Against Elite Defenses"

Stephan A Smith, he's the guy who said " The NFL can't wait to go to court because they will take Brady down with all of the additional evidence they have been holding out. Brady will be in even more trouble.'
(Paraphrased)

Yep, he sure is a credible source....

Loud mouth A-Hole ESPN hack. F.ck him.

Smith is a joke, just an obnoxious mouth piece for espn..

He doesn't believe a word of what he's saying, he's just saying it for shock value to drive ratings per usual..

The only time I ever watch espn is on Monday night football, and I turned the KC v GB game off last night in the 3rd quarter
Wow, you lasted all the way to the third quarter?

Other than the elite defenses that Tom Brady shows up against, he doesn't show up against elite defenses.

Rodgers LOST to that "hurt" Seattle defense.

Ya Thomas went out of the NFCC for a while, not sure if he even came back and Sherman missed a series or two I think with his arm injury and then came back out with his arm basically dangling and Rodgers couldn't put them away.

Brady's ability to perform against great defenses is what separates him from other great QBs. What a dumb comment.

I wonder how long Steven Abigail Smith spent trying to manufacture a "controversial" opinion before he came up with this. I wonder if his initial search was for a "controversial" general topic, Pats topic or Brady topic.

listening to him as I write this...
"Denver, at the Jets , at the Giants Patriots will lose.." this comes after a screaming denoiuncement of Brady where he calls him a choker because the Pats lost to the Giants and Brady has never played against a real tough defense and won..Seattle doesn't count because Sherman, Chancellor and Thomas were "crippled"...I mean this turd is exactly the scum saucking cretin I have been railing against. Pure unadulterated hatred for Brady and the NEP

He's a racist. Clearly.

They play their role, and to that role they have to have certain opinions. Because a show where both guy says "Yup. He's great and no one is close" isn't an interesting show for most viewers.
What's really sad about that is that it would be possible to create views and clicks on a million different topics and arguments without ever saying anything as silly as his quote here.

There is always a 'reason' why the Patriots win. It cannot be because they are coached better. It cannot be because they have the GOAT QB.
So it must be luck, or injuries, or the Refs, or the weather, or worst of all, because they cheat!
F 'em all, they are paid to hate, to spew venom until they finally break them and draw them back into mediocrity.
They only want their supposed selected heroes to shine! They have wet dreams of Luck and Rogers in the Super Bowl! And they will do ANYTHING to make this happen!

"Stephen A Smith has a tendency to not show up at all."

It would be more accurate to say that elite defenses don't show up against Tom Brady.

There's a ton of people on this site that don't watch ESPN but know an awful lot about the current topics, that's for sure......

Ya Thomas went out of the NFCC for a while, not sure if he even came back and Sherman missed a series or two I think with his arm injury and then came back out with his arm basically dangling and Rodgers couldn't put them away.

I could be wrong, but Rodgers didn't even target the receiver Sherman was covering after Sherman's injury. Never even tried to test if the guy could defend a pass or tackle with one arm.

The bigger question is, what QB does show up against elite defenses? Can't be Rodgers. He lost to that same "crippled" Seattle defense. Can't be Peyton Manning. The Seahawks D shut him down in the SB 2 years ago. Heck, the Colts defense shut him down, in Denver, in the playoffs.

Screamin' A said something stupid?

Color me shocked...

I can only hope that when Stephen A Smith is handed a script in the morning he looks at that **** like "Do I really have to say THIS?"
