On Running Up The Score

I wouldn't get worked up if someone was accusing the team of running up the score because #1 that means the Pats won and #2 the fear of or actually getting blown out is the other team's problem, not the Pats or its fans.

Say what you will. The fact is that Brady risked injury with the unnecessary reps. When he was sacked, everyone waited, and sighed with relief.

So, sure, go for 50 or 60, and maybe, just maybe, Brady will survive to play another day.

This is a matter of risk and reward. Personally, I don't see the benefit to the team. Surely, the New England Patriots are not trying to put up in-season records. We certainly don't care about those, do we?

Why are the Patriots the only team expected to stop trying in the 4th quarter if they're ahead?

If you're afraid of Brady taking a sack, maybe you should watch something else, 'cause it's gonna happen again.
