These refs are really trying to make sure GB wins this as if they needed any help.

If they really wanted to make sure Green Bay won, they wouldn't have called the receivers for blocking too early on that screen that Cobb brought in.

I hate the defensive holding rules that Irsay rammed through the CC to try to make it easier on Peyton, but there's no conspiracy there. The refs correctly called a stupid, ****ty rule.

I wish Brady could move like Smith. He looked like a ballerina.

3rd and 4, KC couldn't make it. Every day I think how lucky we are !

I don't know why the Chiefs even have WRs out there, they're certaintly not being used.

Even worse when you consider how they're paying Jeremy Maclin $10M per year to be that invisible.

There are few things more aggravating than watching a bad o-line and bad QB make each other worse.

How do you quantify football IQ? How can you tell if one player can read a defense better when their statistics are so even? Even by the eye test, you can't say one's football IQ is so much higher.

Cause I see Rodgers have wide open guys at the snap of the ball that Brady would easily have recognized. Rodgers big plays come when he scrambles out of the pocket and the play breaks down or when he has an obvious mismatch man to man which he recognized pre snap. Alot of his stuff comes on short passing plays that turns into big YAC.

How many games does Denver need to lose to make sure Pats are #1 seed?

You could say a lot of the same stuff about Brady. In fact, the people who still insist on criticizing Brady typically fall back on "he gets tons of YAC from his receivers" and "he just exploits Gronk being an enormous, obvious physical mismatch all the time". Brady's first TD of the season came when the Steelers forgot to cover Gronk. Rather than thinking that TD shouldn't count for him or something, I think it's a sign of how smart Brady is that he saw the mismatch, hurried the snap, and got the ball out in about a half second. He saw the mismatch and made extra sure to exploit it before the Steelers could fix it.

Hitting your receivers in stride and consistently recognizing/exploiting mismatches are signs of a good QB, not signs that a guy isn't as good as he looks. Having said all of this, even I am annoyed at how thoroughly Tirico and Gruden are suckling Rodgers' balls.

Even though I'd take Brady over Rodgers any day, this is a pretty dubious comment; the "YAC" argument is also something plenty of people use to detract from Brady.

I do think that undersells Rodgers a bit. The way I see it, if you're just looking at the stats the biggest area where Brady's always stood head and shoulders above Manning is that he takes care of the ball. Brady doesn't throw picks.

Well, Rodgers avoids picks even better than Brady does. He has a career TD/INT ratio of better than 4-to-1. He's an all-time great and I don't think it diminishes anything Brady's done to acknowledge that. We'll be telling our grandkids about both of them.

Naturally, as soon as I make this point he fumbles the ball... and gets bailed out by a ridiculous call.

I'm not trying to diminish Rodgers, but show how good Brady is. His career passing numbers are more impressive, but he also started after the rule change that opened up the passing game.

I think Brady is more consistent and much more clutch which shows itself in the postseason record and overall record. Brady also has 35 4th comebacks vs. Rodgers 9. Compare that to their losses, in other words the times they did not comeback. 35 comebacks to 47 losses. 9 comebacks to 33 losses. Then in the playoffs, Brady 9 4th qtr comebacks vs 8 losses, Rodgers 1 comeback vs 5 losses.

Rodgers is great, but Brady is better.

I figured I'd chime in at this point. I really like Rodgers. He's awesome. One question though.

How good will he be when his legs go? He isn't 25 anymore.

This seems like such a longstanding issue that I honestly have to question the scheme more than anything.

I didnt say he was bad. I said he is great. I just don't see a guy that has mastered the knowledge of defensive schemes/tactics like Brady has. Rodgers relies on superior athleticism and accuracy. Nothing wrong with that at all, he's been successful obviously. I just don't think he's on the same level IQ wise as Brady.

I don't think it's a significant concern. He scrambles a bit to keep plays alive, but it's not a huge part of his game. I think he'll still be able to do it into his late 30s, and once he can't do it anymore I think he'll still be really good.

If Baktiari is hurt that's a big problem for the Packers. He's been really good for them.
