Brady has such a command over his offense, it's incredible!

http://blog.masslive.com/patriots/2015/09/tom_brady_patriots_jaguars.html

During his Monday interview with Dennis and Callahan of WEEI, Brady shed some light on the Pats' early dominance.

"I think the great thing about our offensive football team, certainly with Josh (McDaniels) and I being together for as long as we have and having the chemistry that we have," Brady said. "We see things so much the same way now. All through the week when we're talking about the plays and the plan and the situation and as we get into late Saturday night when the game plan finally really comes together, and Sunday morning when we talk, and we're able to make adjustments so quickly. I think we try to find answers and solutions for any problems that the defense may present."

"If it's going to be a zone game we're going to play one way," Brady continued. "If it's going to be a man game, we're going to play another way. If it's a blitz game, we're going to play another way. Whatever they're going to do, we're going to switch up. And it's hard for the defense to do that, because it really takes 11 guys to make those types of adjustments. Offensive football, it's usually just the quarterback and the coordinator. If the quarterback can handle it and you've got the protection, and the receivers already know how to know the certain routes, if you just come up with different combinations and Josh has a lot of comfort that I can read the play out and make good decisions with the ball, then you have a lot of answers to the problems."

"So that's what football is about. Obviously moving the ball and scoring points is the key. How you do every week is going to take different shapes. You're going to face different gameplans, different coaches, 'Hey this is the way we're going to play the Patriots; this is what we're going to try to take away, this is what worked for them last week.' You have all your counterpunches. Yesterday we got into the game and did some things good in the red area and I thought we played better in the second half, certainly we ran the ball better in the second half, and that was the key to really a 60-minute game, which allows you to score the amount of points we scored."

This is all BS, sorry to say. The offense is playing so well because we've videotaped the signals of all the teams we will play this season, even those that we have not played yet. Then, we made sure to take special care of the footballs. And for good measure, we had the pass catchers apply adhesive to their gloves to make the balls easier to catch. That is how the offense has been so brilliant.:p:cool:

How can anyone hate Tom Brady. There is not ONE hate able word in those comments, pure respect for his coaches, his teammates and his opponents defense.
Oh, but the haters come out in droves . . . even before "Deflate-gate."

The scary thing is, Brady is probably as smart as any of the offensive coordinators out there, and probably half the head coaches. He's scary smart. Not as smart as Peyton Manning of course (please have your sarcasm meters turned on).

And he didn't even mention the recording devices in the visitor locker room, the stolen play books, the fake crowd noise, the conspiracy to active the fire alarms in the opposing teams' hotel, the money paid to opposing players to throw the game, the antigravity devices installed at midfield, the coaches' headset disruptor machines, the junior staffer they sent forward in time to advance scout the actual game play, and the bad northeast weather generators that are deployed all along the eastern seaboard.

It's pretty awesome to watch an offense where the key players are truly on the same page. This is basically Gronk and Edelman's "third" year in this offense, so they know the playbook almost to the extend that Brady does, and that opens up plays for everyone else to make. The priority that BB places on football IQ as far as who to bring in here, is paying handsomely as it allows Brady to change pretty much anything at the line.

I liken it to the general guideline that it takes a player 3-4 years to hit their sweet spot in this league, in knowing schemes, not thinking but reacting (e.g., the game slows down for them), and still being young enough to still be at their peak, physically.

We don't even have Lafell back yet imagine what a tough possession receiver can elelvate this offense to even more  We don't have two starting OL back either which will help us greatly in the postseason run

Having Gronk healthy from the start of the season also makes a massive difference. The last 2 years we've had to bring him along slowly in the beginning or wait for him to get back on the field. Once he was 100% healthy the offense really started to hum. This year he's been 100% from the get go and the offense looks unstoppable. What Brady says matters a lot as well but having the right play doesn't matter if the players are not talented enough to execute. Gronk is soooo talented and makes such an enormous impact that he deserves his share of the credit. I'd like to see the offensive splits for Gronk playing versus Gronk not playing.

You forgot the warm Gatorade.

cool insight.
overall, his interviews on d&c have been terrible lately. they keep asking him dumb questions about trump lol

He wins too much.

In fact you can take the "cheat" motif that the Pats' haters use and substitute in the word "win", and it not only works, it explains just what the haters hate us for.

The Cheatriots = The Wintriots

Bill Belicheat = Bill Beliwin

"Stop cheating!" = "Stop winning!"

I'm pretty sure it's that after years of having his balls jacked up by crooked refs the new standards ensure Brady's balls are finally inflated properly.
