No see, the NFL is systematically cheating to help the Patriots win.

That's why the fined us $1m, took away a 1st and 4th rounder and suspended our QB over an issue they could have easily swept under the rug...

jaguars forum this morning...evidently we control the play clock at will. Talk about being inside people's heads...

http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/13832-brady-cheated-again/
  1. Who cares? It's Jaguars fans. Who knew they exist?
  2. We know after every Patriots win, the other team's fans or even their players or coaches will whine like *****es, because that's what they are. Cry-baby losers. These people have to tell themselves that NE cheats because they can't fathom that great coaching and hard work, along with good talent, delivers sustained success.
  3. When the Patriots lose a game we will hear, "see what happens when they don't cheat!? They can't win fairly!"
I enjoy reading the whining and complaining from fans/players/coaches about NE. Again, how much space NE occupies rent-free in their heads is comical.

Wow , they actually do exist. From my calculations there are now twice as many Jags fans known to exist, albeit "not very bright ones", but none-the-less fans, than previously believed. Thank you for contributing to the advancement of science.

Pretty funny stuff. I started reading this thread as well:
http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/13828-calm-down/

And half the responses are whining about the big, bad Patriots 'running up the score'. I get it, seeing your team absolutely decimated by an opponent sucks, but when will people realize a few things:
1. you can't 'run up the score' in the 3rd quarter. Sorry but there's a lot of game left, we saw how quickly a lead can disappear just a week ago.
2. the Pats handed the ball off nearly the entire 4th quarter, the exceptions being on 3rd down and around the goal line. Should they start punting on first down to keep things even?
3. other teams don't 'run up the score' because they're not good enough. Fact. Arizona just curb stomped the Bears and 49ers because they're a hell of a team this season, I don't see people whining about them.

End of the day this is just more of the same: fans of other teams looking for reasons to discredit the Patriots for their success, whether it's drumming up fake 'cheating' allegations or saying the Pats are classless for being better than everyone else.

Either way it's fun to read through these threads :) Some people get it, the Jags just aren't at the Pats level and it showed, hopefully Jacksonville gives Indy a run for their money next weekend. Others are just blinded by hatred/jealousy, period.

37Harrison took the wood to these conspiratorial, butthurt whiners. I have never seen so many mewling wussies in all my life. Oy.

"I am annoyed that the defenders didn't use their opportunity to just level Brady on that interception run that was called back."

Laughed out loud at this. Classy

Their tears are...salty. And scrumptious. Mmm...

I can't imagine what would have happened had we not cheated against the elite Jaguars. We would surely go from 51-17 to losing a close 23-20 nail biter.

It's always funny seeing people who don't understand how the play clock works immediately jumping to "they cheated!"

If this clown actually watched football with any regularity, he'd realize that what he saw is a pretty common occurrence: if there's less than 25 seconds on the playclock when the officials reset the ball, they have to set it back to 25. This happens at some point in pretty much every game ever played in the NFL.

This was the same thing as that idiot on Facebook who posted the video of Brady doing this during the Steelers game.

Also gotta like the person who started the thread replying with this:

@37Harrison

Thanks for the clarification, and excuse me for noticing something during the game that looked odd, and excuse me also for not spending my day researching NFL rules to make sure that Brady isn't a cheater. But then again thank you for taking your time to do it for me as my little (BAD WORD) is supposed to do..

thanks.gif

Enjoy the rest of your day..!

To paraphrase:
Original Poster: OMG he cheated check it out!
Reply: No, that's totally legal. Here's a link to the rule in question. Inform yourself before you make accusations.
Original Poster: Haha tryhard ****** actually knows the rules. So lame, you suck.

Bulletproof argument, I'd love to see someone use it in court sometime.

Not too far off the NFL'S argument re Brady....

Actually most of their own fans were telling the guy to stop whining. Like the guy that said the Jags could have unlimited time and it wouldn't have mattered.

Honestly, I think one of the reasons these ridiculous "cheating scandals" gain any traction is there are too many people watching the game who simply don't understand the rules.

I was at a Patriots game in San Diego a few years ago. While the Patriots were lining up to defend a play in the red zone, Belichick steps onto the field of play to throw a challenge flag on the previous play. Some genius behind me yells out "hey! That should be a penalty for too many men on the field." I'm 100% sure he was being serious.

It's too bad they don't take positives from the game. It looks like they have a good young QB and a decent coaching staff. IIRC they had 4 starters out. They are currently tied for first place. They have a chance to make the playoffs.

Tom Brady and crew (current Super Bowl champions) are on a mission right now and the Jags just happened to be on the schedule.

If they think 51 was running up the score.......I have a feeling they'll feel better after the Pats play the Colts. :D
