Blount and Lewis are a force and require different personnel groupings on D. I think they must be causing serious headaches for Defensive Coordinators who of course still have to deal with Brady, Gronk, Edelman and Co. And of course LaFell is on the way back.

I bet we'll see them on the field at the same time too.

We need to come up with a cool nickname for the duo.

I fantasize about both of them developing so that Lewis can be a nasty receiving threat and Blount can reliably block as a FB or even receive at a TE.

I fantasize about both of them developing too....the rain falling...thunder and lightning....in a small three man tent....just me alone with thunder and lightning....

:p

I love how they got the running game going here. Getting Blount AND White some much needed touches while resting Lewis. Good to have options. Now teams will have to respect the run game as well. Good job by the coaches.

I mean, "Let's not put them in Canton just yet", but Blount seemed to run with real purpose today, more than usual.

Maybe he's pissed that Lewis got the start 2 games in a row.

I'd wonder how much longer cadet will be on the roster but I don't know if they would go down to 3 rb's

He'll stick. Like I've said before, stop thinking of him as a RB. He's a WR. Break glass in case of emergency-type stuff.

I bet he has one big game at some point this year.

Also, it would be 4 RBs, but thankfully, Bolden got zero offensive snaps today, thank god.

For those who were able to see the game, how's Bolden doing these days? Still contributing a lot on special teams?

Have to love pair of versatile lead backs offering different looks who were both street FAs and register a combined cap hit $1.5 million!

This kind of thing is why we win. No wait, it's because we cheat, right?

I'm excited about this combo. A lot of teams tried the thunder and lightening combo, but failed to pull it off. The problem is it was easy to prepare for because the little guy can't run between the tackles and the big guy is slow. But this isn't true of Lewis and Blount. They are looking like a dangerous combination.
