Terrible 2pt playcall. What dumbasses.

You have Megatron. Throw him the ball in that situation.

that 2 pt play was only better than what the titans ran today

A Peyton pick six would be really nice right about now.

All of these biased calls are the league's way of pushing Peyton along in a wheel chair out there to try to keep him and his team relevant. Pathetic.

Yeah that was absolutely horrific. Wtf....

This game feels like it is lasting an eternity

It's so sad, how can Detroit not be ready for the wr screen pass?

wow broncos finally get called for a holding

they have actually shut it down many times tonite, that time was not one of them.

now lions,.go uptempo and throw it to abdullah and CJ

"Oddly" we can turn to the Broncos for the answer to that... Offense retains possession. This is actually true even if the defense recovers it "after" the whistle.

The play must end when the whistle is blown, otherwise players would never stop when they hear the whistle in loose ball situations. Given that, the rules have created a situation where how long the referee waits to blow their whistle has a tangible outcome on games. If he blew it immediately, offense retains ball, if he waits a bit, defense gets ball, if he doesn't blow it all, touchdown for the defense.

I think the problem is there is no repercussions for referee mistakes, a mistake that causes a change of possession or points on the board should be the cardinal sin of a referee.

I didn't think that 2 pt call was that bad actually. If they had thrown it and it had been incomplete people probably complain they should have ran it lol.

Feed Megatron the ball.

Yeah, not a huge fan of a slow-developing play when you know the interior of your line sucks, but it's not like they had a slam dunk to fall back on. Any play they call there would be open to second-guessing.

My personal favorite is to spread em out with 4 or 5 wide for 2 pt conversations. But then again it's easy enough to drop a pass.

Every time I see Golden Tate make a play like that, I think "damn, he would be really good in our offense". He would be beastly on some of those screens, quick slants, and drag routes that the Pats like to run.
