they put friggin' TREES in the end zone...TREES!!!! Godammit...a bunch of silly azzed morons sipping freakin' martinis with their backs to the game all friggin day ...but let's give these mooks the proper ambiance with a dozen well placed fir trees...who gives a shyt that the opponent is driving for a TD...create noise near the goal line??? Nah...trees...they prefer FREAKING TREES!

and another thing...Bortles ran the same swing pass to the back at least six times to HIS right....is ANYONE ever going to TRY to , you know, STOP THAT PLAY??????????????? Krist, it was sickeningly bad defense over and over and over...they never stopped THAT play. What is it with this coaching staff??They put Mayo out there on a WR on the Jags only TD...WHY???????????????? Was today just a science lab...an experiment using the hapless Jags as the subject? I do NOT get this kind of ridiculous mad scientist crap.

Great win, Offense looks unstoppable now. Been really impressed with Lewis so far and our run Defense has improved each week. I also thought Easley had a nice game today and Sheard is going to be a stud for us this year.
With 119 pts in 3 games we're currently on pace to score 635 (39.67 avg). Current record is 606 by the 2013 Broncos, besting the previous of 589 by the '07 Patriots, who bested the '98 Vikings of 556, who topped the '83 Redskins 541.

Avg. per game wise if they keep pace or close NE will have 5 of the top 15 of all-time.

Just to put it in historical context. ;)

Have you tried Decaf?

Yeah. If the coaches knew what they were doing, the Jaguars wouldn't have scored a full 1/3 as many points as the Patriots did.

It wasn't long until running the ball was pointless, but I thought our D did a decent job there..

Did I really see Branch split a double team and toss another blocker away then dump the running back with a vengeance?

If Alan Branch is that fired up, I think we'll be hard to beat attitude wise.

I actually thought the Jags played hard and played to the bell, which is scary. They just did not have an answer for our offense and I don't think anybody does right now.

Good thing they cut Branch in TC like some people here wanted

Penalties stalled a drive, Dobson needs to catch that deep ball. Nice special teams play on the fake punt. Nice win. GO PATS!
Can't believe we are still talking about Dobson dropping balls.

Wasn't Brady like 19 completions away from most completions to start a season with no interception? I haven't heard anyone say he broke that record but I think he did.

That's my point. Its hard to have any confidence in the guy. Surprising he is still on the roster.
Yep. They need someone to back up LaFell. The reason Dobson is still there has been a stunning lack of competition. Hopefully, Martin changes that.

Not sure if this was discussed much already, but I noted the following in the below post-game analysis:

Cornerback Tarell Brown was active but stood on the sideline without a helmet all game

My interpretation is that they allowed the 9-year veteran some rest while the younger players gained more experience. I know that many on the Board will typically deny the notion that BB would willingly sit his best players, but it doesn't seem like he respected the Jags from the game's onset.

Given that he's 30 and the team knows what they have in him as their #2 CB, I don't disapprove. I hope he stays healthy.

Points record is nice but none of those teams won the super bowl

I don't get this snark. I wasn't talking about the overall game performance, I was pointing out a SINGULAR defensive set that allowed the SAME PLAY TO BE SUCCESSFUL OVER AND OVER.

THAT is a problem, from MY 50 years of NFL viewing, that needs work.

Brown hurt his knee last week so perhaps health was a factor. Coleman looked pretty good to me.

Why is every thread now about Dobson and dropping a pass...get over it
