White and Blount active. Maybe we'll see more of a running game this week?

Looks like Ryan starting at CB

And the "starting" D in warmups was a big, big run stopping D.

Jones - Branch - Siligia - Nink
Hightower - Mayo - Collins
Butler - Ryan
McCourty - Chung

This is a game that I see us try to shut down the run early and make a 2nd year mistake-prone QB beat us over the top by himself.

Need to see what Coleman can do.

I thought Williams looked ok on the 15yd catch and run last week.

I think Flowers is still a bit banged up. No need to rush him back.

Might be playing more zone today?

No way Ryan is better in man coverage than Brown. No way.

It is a concern. Can we stop a concerted running attack with current personnel. Like the Peyton colts [sorry] we might have an offense so powerful we can ignore the run, but I'd prefer balance.

It's not that we need wilfork back -we made a conscious decision to go with a different type of D - we do need to prove we can stop it situationally, because we may run into a better team that wants to play ball control and defense.

We'll see but I think they will scheme against the run. Hopefully Easley will be able to contribute which would help. Pass rush from last week plus Easley up the middle will be interesting to watch.

Man that makes me nervous, I just don't have confidence in Kline as a starter. I thought Mason looked really good last week, maybe I am missing something.

Yeah, I thought they would go with the same line as they did last week as they played really well.

Hooman inactive too. There goes the 4TE spread. And when do we get to see Trey Flowers in action? Just losing out on the numbers game I suppose. Nice to see Easley is, at least, available to play.

I don't know if Hooman is hurt or not (anybody know?), but Mike Williams has played 26.5 % of the snaps of the first two games to 15% for Hooman. It may just be that Williams has scooted up the depth chart to #3 TE.

What about Kline's play have you not liked? I don't think he's doing any worse than Mason or Jackson.

When the coaching staff wants more competition at a position, the playing time can be allocated based on who practiced better. It may simply be that Ryan and Kline stepped up this week.

Kline started every offensive snap next to Andrews last week (either at LG or RG), he must be doing something right.

To be completely honest he has more than held his own this year, it's the ghost of last year that has me nervous.

Yeah, we all need to help each other through this transition.

And what are we going to do if suddenly the Pats have three solid G's and two solid C's? The interior line becomes a strength of the team? I guess we'll just have to complain more about CB.

That and if Lewis puts the ball on the ground one more time White can come in and assume the passing back role.

My main man Cadet is sitting...oh well
