Volunteer as a test subject.

He should have his brain examined. He must be concussed from a decade of repeatedly trying to force his head up his own arse.

LOL at the post title. "Interviewed for 60 minutes" vs. Interviewed by 60 Minutes" is something of a significant distinction.

Much as I want them to destroy him it will all be pre planned questions and canned non answers to them.

Play the Gooddell drinking game. When he uses the word "integrity" drink. Drink the whole time when he's just stringing words together to form sentences but not making a point or sense.

Although 60 Minutes is one of the few news organizations that don't consistently kowtow to corporate influences in their stories (but their credibility record overall is far from spotless), I still don't see them using the Armen Keytain story. I could be wrong.

I think if this was another show on a network with strong ties to the NFL, this would be a major puff piece portraying Roger Goodell as a part avenging hero and poor victim trying to defend the integrity of the NFL from the evil Tom Brady. I don't think 60 Minutes will go that far, but I also don't think they will be questioning the validity of the Deflategate investigation. Possibly a few pointed questions, but overall I expect them to be favorable to Goodell in the piece.

I'd like to respectfully disagree with the majority opinion here....

CBS is not going to "lose NFL rights" if they do an investigative piece on the NFL. They're paying billions of dollars. All 4 of the major networks have the NFL (Disney chooses to broadcast MNF on ESPN instead of ABC). It isn't like CBS has to worry about being outbid by a competitor and lose the rights entirely like happened 20 years ago.

As for Thursday night....

Goodell and the NFL will sell the Thursday Night Package to the highest bidder, period. A hard-hitting piece of investigative journalism by one of the "big-3" networks won't change that.

Maybe I am being foolishly naive (which wouldn't be the first time).... but I am hoping that if they are investigating deflategate, then they may do so with some journalistic integrity....
Guys, think about it. Why would the league agree to put him out there? They will only do it if they think they can advance their agenda. There is no reason for them otherwise.

Like any other organization investigated by the news media, they will want their side told. They will want their spin out there.

My hope is that if this is Deflategate related, then 60 Minutes conducts the report in a fair, ethical manner. (Instead of worrying about kowtowing to the league because of a business relationship.)

The 'league' in this case is him. And given the size of his reported ego, it wouldn't surprise me if he bit off more than he can chew.

Hey, ESPN pays the most for rights, that's why they always do hard hitting stories on goodell...

Then fire the reporters.

The news was never objective when we were younger, we were just naive and didn't have any other resources besides them. You can go all the way back to Cronkite and Duranty, and to everyone since to find out they were FOS half the time.

It will be junk, because they are typically populists, and they aren't going to tick off their bosses. Tom Brady is the devil is what the common man wants to believe, highly unlikely they burst that bubble.

I disagree. They were FAR more about being actual legitimate journalists back then.

I wonder if this is in response to the 60 minutes sports segment.

Interesting. Will CBS ( who likes having Thursday Night Football) allow Goodell to counterpoint the CBS 60 minute Deflategate piece?

Where did they get that simian picture of TB12?
