I forgot about the surgery. I suspect infection, then.
That's a thought.

Whatever it is, I get the impression that he is mostly past it. Hope we see him back after the break. The signs were there last week that this was something more than the flu. Since I'd already come to that conclusion, I'm actually encouraged that he isn't in hiding.
That was my immediate reaction. I'm negative though. I always expect the freaking worst. You have to wonder if it's something like Solder had last year.. Hope not.

My inside sources say he's day to day and working every day to get back on the field.

Imagine Belichick having to drive him over to the doctors. "So what seems to be the problem?" "Ryan is just taking it day to day, working hard every day to get back on the field." "Okay....not sure what we can do there..."I heard injury - torso.

You might think so but weren't both Brady and Gronk around the facility at the times they were dealing with post-op staph? That does seem plausible, but would they let him in the locker room in that case? Certainly not if it was a staff infection like MRSA. Maybe there are other post surgery non contagious infections, I'm not a medical type so I don't know. Another poster said he had been in the locker room.

Well, the good thing is that they didn't put him on IR, so I'd expect to see him sooner than later.
I suspect he might have andrewisplayingbetterrightnowitis.
