Holy Moly, What's Wrong With Wendell?

You have to wonder if it's something like Solder had last year.. Hope not.

I'm thinking it has to be something like that. with a big generalization, "like that." Doesn't sound like a tender shoulder or the flu, that's for sure.

Surprising that much information was released. Wendell's nothing but a good soldier. This info must be with permission.

Doesn't sound good. Hope he's okay.

All we know from it is It likely must be something very sensitive otherwise we'd know exactly what it is. Still a big generalization, but we know it has to be something either just sensitive or serious. Definitely hope for his sake it's only the former.

Yikes, that kind of vagueness might mean nothing, but it definitely makes you worry. Whatever the issue is, I hope he makes a full, complication-free recovery and takes however much time he needs to get fully healthy. Would definitely like to see him suit up ASAP, but health comes first and in the mean time this is a great development opportunity for the young guys on the interior.

Well, it's not an injury; they'd say so if it were. It's not contagious or he wouldn't be in the lockerroom.

"I don't know how it is anywhere else, but to have the staff that we have and especially the relationship we have with all the doctors from Mass. General Hospital and everything like that, I think we get top-of-the-line health care" doesn't exactly give one warm fuzzies about his health.

The fact that he mentions "doctors from MGH" almost certainly means specialists for some condition.

He's listed as illness on the report. Coming off shoulder surgery, so that seems strange 2 weeks in a row.

Can anyone paste the article here so I don't have to click espn?

I'll tell you what it made me think of, but only after we can [hopefully] laugh this off. Best wishes Wendy!

I forgot about the surgery. I suspect infection, then.

There are plenty of medical issues that can keep people sidelined from participating in sporting events. I'm not sure we should jump to the extreme just yet.

It could be any number of things that they choose not to disclose to the public. Maybe it's something that's embarrassing and none of our business? Or maybe it's just a lingering issue that hasn't been resolved yet.

Wow, I feel bad for joking he had the clap on another post.

The signs were there last week that this was something more than the flu. Since I'd already come to that conclusion, I'm actually encouraged that he isn't in hiding.
