Both sides agreed to the request for an expedited schedule. It avoids a situation where a decision is handed down in the middle of next season.

Why wouldn't ESPN, or any sports station/show have it as breaking news? That's exactly what it is.

So Goodell plots this big storyline just before the SB. It's genius for the NFL, they want even higher ratings for the next SB. They might even plan another court date on the day of the SB, forcing Brady to miss half the game due to travel. While Jimmy G is getting torn to shreds, Brady enters the game at halftime, drops a Stone Cold Stunner on Jimmy G, lead his team to about 4 TDs and blow up which ever scrub of a team comes out of the NFC. Then Goodell comes out to present Brady with another Lombardi trophy, Brady gives him two middle fingers, a kick to the gut and a Stone Cold Stunner. The audience chants "HELL YEAH" and Brady drinks beers with his winning teammates as the crowd chants "GOAT." WOW. I can't believe this isn't scripted TV.

Goodell only suspended him 4 games to hype up the Colts game. How obvious is this? ESPN say they are tired of talking about deflategate, but when it appears the NFL is on top, they LOVE talking about deflategate. A bunch of has-beens, wish-they-weres and integrity-less fools.

The appeal is all done by briefs and a couple hours of oral arguments. Brady (or Goodell) won't be anywhere near the courtroom this time. And even if they were they would not be called upon or even allowed to say anything.

why hasn't Goodell chimed in on this firestorm in the media? He IS the commissioner, isn't he? This story IS concerned with the "integrity of the game". He has repeated ad nauseum "integrity of the game" at the drop of a hat yet ...crickets. What kind of shallow, cowardly, idiotic ,grossly incompetent buffoon IS this commissioner?

Isn't the key question here: What actual incident are they following?

What came out last time was that there was really no "deflategate" per se- just some older sentiments brewing; great time to take care of them. How quaint.

So, what is the actual grievance? Abstractions and substitutions are not accepted.

I remember goodell saying a while ago that he makes himself readily available to the media and would talk to anyone at anytime

And yet, except for a couple scripted interviews with preselected NFL ass-kissers, the commissioner has been invisible
