Goodell being interviewed for 60 mins

Just show the piece from 60 minutes sports on deflategate. This will be a CBS partner puff piece. Stories of his hard working background, a poor senators son forced to rely on the charity of Kensil senior for box seats to the jets.

I want to see this...

It'll be a segment of corporate non speak doubletalk where it seems like goodell is saying something, but when you look at the transcript, it's blank.

Do a shot every time he says integrity, and another shot if it's clearly, self-evidently disingenuous.
In that case, better be prepared to do funnels and even then you might fall behind.

I'd like to see a conversation with him hooked up to a lie detector, but then again he's probably so comfortable lying that nothing would ever register.

There was a day when Goodell wouldn't have gone near 60 minutes because they would have splayed and gutted him like a freshly-caught flounder. Today....not so much. 60 minutes is a shadow of it's former self.

Maybe today is the day. The Day 60 minutes was reborn. It will rise from the ashes of obscurity with such a hard hitting expose that will thrust the NFL's tyrannical corrupt nature into the limelight after which millions of football fans from all walks of life will loudly proclaim "Brady was innocent!!"and during the following days the dust from this explosive fact filled grilling will settle and we as Patriot fans will finally have what we have always truly wished for our team......Vindication. Yes ladies and gentlemen soon....very soon fans from across the nation will finally understand with clarity that yes, BB is the greatest coach of all time and yes, Brady is the greatest QB of all time and together, much like a perfect storm, they produced a 15 year performance that has never been nor well ever be replicated. o_O

Or it's just another fluff piece.:D

Folks, folks, folks.

That 60 Minutes Showtime piece will NEVER see the light of day on CBS primetime on a Sunday night.

NOT. GONNA. HAPPEN.

CBS wants a good position with NFL headquarters.

The Ketayien piece with Professor Blecker will forever live in the Siberia of the internet and Showtime.

The puff piece in MetLife stadium with Goodell (maybe they will ask him his favorite color!) will be polished up and edited to make him look like General Eisenhower.

No way CBS bites the hand that feeds it, puff piece with the word "integrity" said at least 12 times.

On the other hand, CBS has a strong relationship with the NF L - and CBS surely hopes to retain the Thursday Night Football simulcast indefinitely.

It must be nice for goodell to have all these networks and publications kissing his ass out of fear of losing out on getting some of those NFL dollars

No wonder goodell has a God complex

Dan rather and Mary Mapes destroyed the 60 minutes brand well over a decade ago.

Would make a great Andy Rooney piece.

"Mr. Goodell your commissionership seems to have the momentum of a runaway train. Why are you so popular?"

I wish I could like this 1000 times. This is EXACTLY what I was gonna post on this thread ! Love this skit. Great Mike Wallace impersonation and great job my Martin Short as the grilled interviewee

Edit, it was actually this clip I was thinking of when short originally did this character in 1985. Sorry for the bad quality, only version of the original clip I could find.

The NFL/Media Football Cartel - Knob Polishing at it's best. Worse even than the Hollywood self-aggrandizing If any of you think that this isn't a serious integrity issue, then I've got a bridge to sell you. Neither CBS or the NFL have any integrity or morals so this is, or should be, expected. How anyone can like that immoral grease pit Goodell is beyond me.

I don't think the league would have agreed to Goodell speaking to 60 minutes if they were going to grill him. I'm sure they're going to ask him but they'll move on after he gives a ******** answer about the integrity of the game. They won't go after him.

It should be assumed that the Goodell-bot will come pre-programmed with bland, inconsequential non-answers to all questions.

It would be nice, but not to be I'm afraid....deep down EVERYONE knows that BB and Brady are the greatest combo and individuals at their respective positions to ever grace the NFL. Vindication will come in yet another Superbowl Championship hopefully.
