This is going to be very kiss-ass thread, but I honestly feel like talking about it for some time and didn't really find another place to do it.

This is most well-designed forum of sports I am part of and one of the best in general too. It is all intuitive and easy to spot, with almost no lag of any kind when loading pages, no matter the platform. Some ideas are really great and astound me that other forums don't apply them (for instance, no signatures when signing in from a mobile, to save bandwidth, if I had to guess?). And, perhaps most importantly, it gorgeous looking. It doesn't tire the eyes, the post is always centered so there's no need to run across the screen to read a single sentence.

Creating a thread, posting, it all comes naturally. The ratings system is great, diverse, with all the different options. Profiles are clean and with all the information at hand, without the need to lose time looking for the wanted information. I occasionally wonder throughout other teams' forums and none come anywhere close to this one. Lastly, this is very well administered and organized. It is a good reflection of our team

I have done some programming in my life (Mostly statistical, for my job), so I have an idea of the amount of work you had put in here. So, this is my way of saying thanks for the incredible job Ian. You deserve a huge congratulations for the job (I wish I could make a financial contribution too, now that I am here for more than a year, but my govern is making absolutely impossible to create new expenses, specially a foreign one).

Thank you Ian and all of those who support this. You are the Patriots of the forums, thakfully it just happens to be the Patriots forum.

Agreed!

The only gripe I could possibly have is when viewing the site via iPhone, you have to scroll through a lot of stuff before getting to the actual posts. You have to scroll through a good 6-7 full 'pages' of logos, advertisements, sub-forums, and sticky's before ever reaching the posts.

It's annoying but I'll live :)

This is why I am proud to support this forum, both by posting and by financial means. It is my go-to site every day for all things Patriots-related, and for general NFL news. I don't know of another sports site that comes close to this one, and there are few outside of sports that look, feel and act as well as this one.

Thanks to the OP for this post, and a bigger thanks to Ian for keeping it going.

I also see that Tapatalk support appears to be turned back on! (Though I'm seeing some glitches -- like being unable to reply to articles -- that I'll PM @Ian about).

But yeah -- I second what everyone has said -- great job, Ian!

I remember the old old site. Looking back it was lol bad.

Threads were stacked with the responses. Wish I had a picture to show. I don't know if Ian has any old pictures or not?

Ian is king when it comes to keeping up with technology of these things.

More than just a picture; you can actually click around and browse as if it were 2012

GREAT JOB IAN!!!!!!!!

Thanks to the OP for bringing this up.

A few months ago I was searching for info regarding defamegate and this Gold Mine appeared in one of my searches. Since then I have truly enjoyed being a part of this forum. I have learned so much about the Legal system, physics, grammar........and .....something else.......oh yeah and football. :D

This is a great forum loaded with fantastic members.

Thanks to Ian, Mods and all.

Deserves a Patriots Hall of Fame indcution.

This forum is great. Great layout, great mods, great posters, great notification. The only not great thing is the gameday thread whem we're behind. LOL.

Thanks for the kind words. It's an ongoing effort and I'm always trying to streamline and improve things and most of the ideas typically stem from feedback from everyone, so don't ever be afraid to jump in the help forum and say something. I may not always respond immediately but it never falls onto deaf ears.

This software is definitely excellent when it comes to being able to customize things, so putting this layout together was a nice upgrade and I can't get over how much better and quicker it runs than the old one...I haven't looked at the previous one in ages LOL...I did about as much as I could with that one and obviously it served us fairly well until this switch. But in terms of server load, etc. this software is leaps and bounds better in that regard. Although I still have to upgrade our hardware to take us to the next step of things, but I'm sure that will happen eventually. Hopefully before the postseason.

But again, appreciate the thread, definitely kind of you to say. This place remains a constant work in progress and I've got a few ideas that I'm working on - one of which is taking a while because of the amount of coding involved but I think you're going to like it. And as I said, feedback, suggestions, complaints, etc. are always appreciated and encouraged. That's the only way I can keep trying to make it better :)

Here's another minor bit of feedback -- is there any way to allow us to hide the "Stickies" block? It seldom ever changes so I'm almost always scrolling down a ways just to get to the actual ongoing posts.

Better yet, would it be possible to let us arrange the relative positions of "Stickies", "Normal Threads", and the list of the other forums? So you could have Stickies first, I could have Normal Threads first, and someone else could have Other Forums first
