Hypocritical Ravens copy Pats' "ineligible" play (merged)

This play looks a little familiar.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

(I know Belichick didn't come up with this, but he's the one who perfected it in the NFL.)

Harbaugh's face at his presser after this latest loss was gold. Karma, baby. Keep it coming, all year long.

So the Pats cheated the Ravens out of a win by using a legal formation that Harbaugh just hadn't seen before, so Harbaugh cries about it and gets the rule adjusted, then goes on to use almost the same exact play to try to pull out a win against the friggin Raiders, but still loses.

Sounds like Harbaugh to me.

I think it should be encouraged to refer to someone as a "Harbaugh" when they complain and whine about something, only to do the same basic thing to someone else. Extra points if they fail in the process!

"Look, I know you're upset that you got beat, but you don't have to be a Harbaugh about it!"

On a somewhat serious note, I thought the rule was changed so that nobody could run this type of play/formation anymore?
The Ravens used an offensive lineman where the Pats had used Vereen. It is still a legal play as long as that ineligible guy out wide has an ineligible number, but players with eligible numbers can no longer declare themselves ineligible and then line up out wide.

Harbaugh wants his cake ... even if Belichick baked it!!

The new rule is stupid. It basically excuses the defense/coaches from having to diagnose the play. It is basically the dummy-ing down of an exam so that the masses don't embarrass themselves. Let's make sure stupid Harbaugh and idiot Terrell don't soil themselves having to "think" too much. It's so much easier when you can just pin your ear backs and try and hurt the quarterback, isn't it.

I have always been about smarter>stronger. I cheer for the Princetons to beat the Georgetowns. I also like the idea of our smurfs wrecking a league full of bigger, stronger, faster players.
The media/fans love to wallow in Cam Newton's athleticism (the backflip) but I feel like the schemes/strategy are what make this interesting.

The last season and offseason has provided a couple of new idioms for us to use in the future. You have just added another.

To take a Mort
To whine like a Harbaugh
I took such a huge Mort that my Goodell started to hurt and I cried like a Harbaugh.

The same mentality that gave us the designated hitter in baseball. It takes a lot of pressure off the manager by relieving him of the responsibility of having to make critical decisions.

Thank you!

Read this in a Southie accent:
Woh woh woah, Buddy. Don't you go talking about the DH as long as Papi is holding court at Fenway. That'll get you a black-eye.
