Is this what happens to the brain of a football fan when they are exposed to years of irrelevance and incompetence? The NFL is scripted? What drugs are those people on?

We have it good.

DFS (Depressed Fan Syndrome) metastasis itself in strange ways.

If you show the following symptoms you may have DFS:

1. Your team has not been to the playoffs since last century.

2. Your team has had a losing record more than 10 out of the last 15 years.

3. You get your hopes up whenever a foot loving coach comes to town.

4. You gave up drinking during the off season but start back up after week 6 of the regular season.
( Note: In severe cases you may start drinking after the 3rd preseason game)

5. The only time you can talk trash to other teams is during the preseason.
(Note: Jet fans usually win the SuperBowl during the draft.)

6. You think every new QB is the next _________ (fill in the blank), who will take your team to the SB.
(Options: Tom Brady, Tom Brady, Tom Brady........you know you wish he was your QB)

7. Your city is best known for an appetizer.

8. Your teams stadium was built during the original and only true "gate" scandal. (Watergate)

9. When you follow a tractor trailer and see a sticker that says "takes Wide Right turns" you fall into instant depression. (Ohhh if only Scotty had made that kick....ohhhh)

10. If you have ever seen a #12 Brady Jersey and secretly wished to wear it.

It's a serious issue and we should not joke around about it.

I said should not............yeah who am I kidding.

As a follow up, I read more of that thread, and this alleged journalist claims his sources will not be anonymous in the article, they (apparently 3 people working on it) will be naming names, providing emails, etc. If that's true, at least I give them more credit than ESPN/Sports Illustrated who went with the old "according to sources".

Can't say I'm not worried, though apparently other teams should be worried, though they claim the Pats are the worst offenders. Supposedly posting emails in that thread soon. Claiming the Pats are arrogant in the emails discussing cheating. Don't know how long the Statutes of Limitations are, if it's stuff from 2000-2014. Apparently people working for the Pats will get fired if this gets out.

I'm not buying it hook line and sinker like the tin foil hat wearing Bills fans, but if it names people, and they are providing emails voluntarily, I am a tiny bit concerned. Let's face it, the Pat's legacy is already ruined in the eyes of Pat's haters. They will never give up their Cheatriot's thought process.

But personally I'm extremely proud to be a Pat's fan these last 15 years (actually been a proud fan since 1975)and whatever comes out of the woodworks will never decrease my pride.
If you're genuinely worried about this, you need to resign yourself to a lifetime of being worried, because this type of stuff will be forthcoming virtually every day as long as our franchise exists. Nice way to live...

So let me get this right..

The Pats are 24-3 against the Bills because they guy who reffed yesterday's game (and no Pats games before yesterday), works for a company that 15 years ago (when he wasn't a ref or worked for that company) built Gillette Stadium.

An of course, Kraft is still paying (the bank, not the company) for the cost of the stadium, because as we all know, he had the three hundred million dollars tucked away in his mattress.

If Bills fans are will to cling to this imaginary thread of a conspiracy theory, I wonder what they think of all the high-level NFL employees (Goodell, Kensil, Aiello, etc) with significant ties to the Jets, either as former employees, fandom, or relatives, actively screwing over the Patriots. They probably think that's just a coincidence.

Saw this on Patriot's Planet, Has the entire sports world gone crazy ? This is on the Bill.com message board:

Hello everyone,

I signed up to post this, though I will more than likely stick around and discuss things with you all Bills related anyway, I just really needed to kind of get this out there so the Bills faithful don't think that cheaters can get away with destroying the integrity of OUR game. The OP brought up a valid point, however it's muddled with inconsistencies and inaccuracies. This is the problem, right here. It's why Brady got off without the suspension he deserved, he should be sitting right now, but because of too many holes and not enough factual evidence he got away with it.

I just want you all to know, that there are those of us who do care about the fairness of this league and want to see those who would abuse it punished. I am personally writing a story for a major player in the media. This piece I'm writing is going to blow the cap on the Patriots and the **** they do. I can't divulge much more right now, this needs to stay under wraps as all the facts and all avenues are being sought to make sure that what I find and expose is unforgivable and can't be talked out of.

This is going to be big, guys. I found a lot, it's going to cause people to get fired in the Patriots organization. And this topic right here, lets just say that it's not entirely something to dismiss. I'll provide updates the best I can for anyone interested, we are trying to get this piece written as quickly but thoroughly as we can, because each week that goes by is another weak the Pats get away with cheating and it has to stop.

Best regards,
C.D.

There are just an alarming amount of insane people hiding behind a keyboard in the sports fan community. All I have to say about this is, if his article gets published, it better not contain "A source tells us" or "A former Pat's Player/Coach/Employee tells us. It better name names if they do have verified proof. I'm waiting with bated breath to read this, not.

C.D. ... Do you believe in the Easter bunny too? Take your beat down on Sunday like a man. Stop with the excuse-gates. You're lucky the score wasn't 57 - 13 as it could easily have been.

Looks like Ronny needs to dye his roots.

OK, boys, the gig is up. Some anonymous internet homer is going to blow the lid on the whole deal. We need to eliminate him.

Immmmm waiting ..........they said they would release emails tonight.,...waiting waiting....lmao

Reminds me of the several ball-less wonders here who after having the IGL explained to them were still worried that maybe "Brady had done something". Life as a scared rabbit must be hell.

It's too late. Multiple Bills fans already told him to "watch his back."

No, really. They honestly think this person may be in some danger.

I know when I write a serious article that will break wide open a cheating scandal. The first place I would post about it is a Bills Forum. Yup, nothing says truth like posting to a bunch of hillbilly Canadians.

I literally laughed out loud while reading that.

Not only are Bills fans gullible enough to believe that an anonymous person has inexplicably come to their message board to announce that they're going to break a big story about the Patriots, some are expressing concern for the mystery poster's safety

I'm thinking of logging in over there under the name 'Christian_Szell' and repeatedly posting "Is it safe?" to really blow their minds. At least it might liven up their boring lives in Buffalo.

It has to be related to this piece:

http://boards.buffalobills.com/show...s-Pats-VP-Barton-Malow-325-million-from-Kraft

It is thoroughly hilarious.

The OP thinks that a lot of flags were thrown against the Bills because the Referee is the VP of the company contracted to build the razer a decade and a half ago. This referee hasn't been employed there for more than a few years and was certainly not on any payroll 15 years ago when construction began.

Somehow he thinks that Kraft paying off loans to banks is the same as directly cashing checks to the ref.

He also ignores that we had 120 yards of penalties on ourselves.

Idiots, I swear.

The funny thing is Mark Baltz worked as a line judge in a game or two in a Colts' game when his son worked for the Colts. These conflicts of interest probably happen all the time.

Maybe is the guy who "wrote" a book blowing the Spygate scandal out of the water with new information which turned out him cutting and pasting a bunch of old articles in a book and some no name sports book analyst come up with some BS theory on how it is impossible for the Pats to win so much without cheating.

If anyone had hard evidence of the Pats' cheating this big, it would have come out long ago.

I went over there to read some of this stupidity.... After reading I would rather wash my eyes out with lemon juice than do that again. Those folks are terrible...also a little OT but did anyone hear on the radio today the female pats fan at the game yesterday, with family, that was told by a bills fan that they hope she gets raped? Wow, classy folks. I might still be in jail.....

Granted I don't go to opposing teams stadiums to watch the pats, I would just get in trouble.
