So it would seem that Kraft is funneling cash to NFL officials to ensure winning the battle of the flags. I’m hopeful that by year’s end we can have a gate for every letter of the alphabet.

Prediction: Kraft eventually shares a cell with Hernandez and earns a new nickname – Incarcerated Bob.

The head official from Sunday's Bills/Patriots encounter happens to be Vice President for Barton Malow:
Beacon/Barton Malow was the construction manager for Gillette stadium. Beacon/Barton Malow is a joint venture between Boston-based Beacon Skanska Construction Co. and Barton Malow Sports in Baltimore.

Beacon/Barton Malow were funded $325 million from Robert Kraft. $40 million of this is being paid by Kraft over the course of 25 years (i.e. payments are still occurring between Kraft and Barton Malow).

I'd like to close the door on all these gates.

Holy crap that is classic hilarious. 6 pages of cow tippers showing their complete ignorance of how finance works! They actually think the construction company is still being paid for the stadium and that Kraft never financed the deal.

I bet they still haven't seen an ATM in person.

I hope there's a new accusation every week, and each one is posted on the inside of Brady's locker on Monday morning. Then, after Super Bowl 50, someone can snap a photo of that locker, with all the headlines and garbage lined up week by week, with the "Patriots Repeat!" headline at the very end.

We're so in the heads of these people it's hilarious. We're a week away from someone saying "you can distinctly see a grey hoodie on the grassy knoll."

I cannot imagine how bleak those peoples' lives are to be writing such ignorant drivel. They may not even use money for their transactions. I bet they get by on bartering.

How does someone decide they need to look into who built the Gillette Stadium and whether the ref is a current VP of that company. If you look hard enough for a connection (or evidence of foul play), you'll find it, even if it isn't actually there (example: the deflategate fiasco).

Ryan was stupid enough to point it out in his press conference that they had 14 flags to the Patriots 11 saying the refs must have come to watch the Patriots play today. 14 to 11 isn't a large discrepancy especially with how undisciplined the Bills were playing. If it was 14-5 perhaps he would have a point. I actually hated the number of flags. There was some ticky tack stuff on both teams that shouldn't have been called. It ruins the flow of the game when it's like that.

Several Bills fans shut this down with factual corrections, timelines, and basic financing. I hope we have a few even headed enforcers like that if these boards devolve like that.

I hear Goodell ate a buffalo wing once.......he used a fork though.

I think that accounts for the refs leaving Aaron Williams in the game after his second flagrant personal foul.

There's nothing funny about that, Shmessy... don't you see? He's going to blow the whole lid off of our crooked operation! Enjoy these games while they last, fellas, because once this crippling espose comes out we may not have a team to root for anymore.

The Bills offense sucked for the better part of the first half, then was gifted a TD on a ~40 yard PI flag. The fact that they can still complain about flags after that proves that the sanity train left Buffalo station a long, long time ago.

Actually, to me. He didn't seem to be complaining about any discrepancy between the two teams regarding the calls there. He was pointing out that the Pats had loads of penalties too. He knows 11 penalties is a lot for one game.

His point was that the refs were whistle happy in general and that the fans don't come to see them officiate.

I didn't take that as a favoritism complaint. Even Rex isn't as idiotic as the cow tipping populace there.

Once again we see that the tinfoil portion of a fan base is going to be basically the same idiots regardless of team. The Patriots whack job is the Bills whack job is the Yankees whack job.

Have to say I'm really looking forward to that guy's report with actual named sources! Going to be awesome and really blow the lid off this whole charade we've had going here the past 14 years.

I'd say that the NFL vets the referees for any potential bias.

but, then I remembered how well they learn (from mistakes) and their ability to organize investigations. Speaking that in public might give the buffalo fans more ammo and help build their case.

Three thoughts.

One, the payments in question are apparently under a long term contract negotiated a while ago, so this guy would have nothing to do with them, one way or the other, at this time.

Two, I do think it would be a legitimate question for the NFL, were it managed as an ethical business, whether someone's being an executive officer for a company with a financial relationship with one of its teams would not disqualify him from being an Official for a game played by one of those teams. However, we all know that that is a moot point since the NFL has proven itself not to be an ethical organization.

Three, I assume that if Bob Kraft wants to pay someone off, he learned a long time ago how to do it a lot more discretely than this.
