Great News on Aaron Williams!

I honestly think they need to get rid of Thursday night games and just leave it to Thanksgiving day games...

Good news & expected
He hit The Squirrel in his back with his facemark which snapped his head & next back. Hurts like hell & a stunner.
Team was being very appropriately proactive.
Hope he's in pain for a week & plays next Sunday.
Is that what happened? I was watching with my family and we couldn't see how that hit caused such a great injury. Glad it's not too bad for him.

That was scary. I kept looking for some movement from his feet as he was being wheeled out, and he didn't give us one. I'm thrilled to find out he walked out of the hospital. I hope he's back on the field soon. Rex is going to need all the help he can get. :D

I was surprised he got hurt. Usually guys get hurt when their heads are down when they make contact. Williams' head was in pretty good position when he hit Edelman. Great news. I'd like to think there was a way for his Parents to know how happy Pats fans are that their son is in such good shape. Maybe that nice Bills fans could let them know.,

Very relieved to hear Williams is okay. Those of us who love the game wish that all players could remain healthy.

Great news - very relieved to hear this news. It didn't look good at all out there today with him being taken off via ambulance.

Whew. Poor guy got scored on and somehow Edelman gave him an RKO while flying in for the TD.

WWE will be calling shortly.

I was watching Redzone at my cousin's house and they updated with the Edelman's TD and gamecast on my phone showed Williams was injured. I don't know how much time went by and the guy says Gostkowski with the XP. I assumed we had a turnover or something. When I found out it was the point after the Edelman TD, I was very concerned. Very glad to know he's ok.

Definitely good news. Rex should give him a few weeks off for pre-cautionary reasons.

Praise God. The injury wasn't serious.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan says it was encouraging to see safety Aaron Williams report to the team's facility on Monday, a day after the player sustained a neck injury.

Ryan says Williams wore a neck brace and is still feeling stiff and sore after being examined and released from the hospital on Sunday.

Though tests revealed the injury wasn't serious, Ryan says it's "probably a stretch" to expect Williams to play in Buffalo's game at Miami on Sunday.

Williams was hurt while diving headfirst in an attempt to tackle Patriots receiver Julian Edelman in the third quarter of a 40-32 loss to New England. Williams was placed on a stretcher and his body immobilized before being loaded into an ambulance.

He was released from a hospital about three hours later.
