Brady: 2nd Most Passing Yards in His Career

Five in his thirties. Like the very best fine wine.

Brady has JE in his prime and Gronk is even more of a weapon than Moss. As long as Gronk is there, the Pats will be good.

After two weeks, does it seem like the game plan is to have Brady break ALL the QB records this season?

With properly inflated balls, too.

I think it's pretty obvious he is in FU mode.

And yet with all the yards, it was not the STATEMENT it could have and should have been In fact, all the yards and passes seemed to be part of the circus that almost turned an obvious big win into a near loss.

Last season @ BUF was one of the sneaky best games of his career considering the defense of the Bills and the importance of the game at the time. More efficient than today but he threw waaaay less passes so the yards weren't insane.

Not that it really needs to be said, but if I'm an NFL defense with the Patriots on my schedule this season I'd be scared to death right now.

In my opinion, this might be Brady's best season when it's all said and done. He looks unstoppable right now. And I don't mean that just from a team perspective either. With essentially no running game to speak of and a very green offensive line starting 3 rookies Brady just carved up everyone's niche pick for the top defense in the league.

There's no player in the league as dangerous as an angry Tom Brady with something to prove.

As for some other stats...

Tom Brady is 1st player in NFL history to have all of these in a game:
Throw for 450 yards - 3 TD passes - 0 Int - 55 attempts (ELIAS)

Anyone remember more about the game from 2002?
I do, the Pats started out on fire that season. The Pats, Tom Brady and a rookie named Deion Branch torched the Steelers after the Super Bowl pennant was unfurled in game one. They continued to torch teams, I believe they were 3-0 (including that KC game) then injuries set in, Branch got hurt, Brady hurt his shoulder, etc. Finished in a 3 way tie for first at 9-7, but lost the tie breakers and missed the playoffs. Brady actually led the NFL in TDs that season with 28.

Just had the displeasure of looking at the tweet scroll. MCI on there on there trying to act like it was meh because Brady threw 59 times.

Man, that's an impressive record. Also there's another one, I think QBs have won only 5 playoff games where they throw 50 times, and Brady has 4 of those wins.

I remember the season well, just not that game exactly

Awesome stats but I don't like the amount of attempts. Don't like the wear on his arm.

Don't worry they have a bye after the jags game. Then we will start running more when the storms and lesser defenses come.
