Judge Berman releases citizen letters received prior to ruling

92 year-old man ““who is very interested in sports activities” tells J. Berman to “keep up his true American spirit”

Doesn't Goodell use Comic Sans on all his memos?

Goodell "writes" his memos on a blank piece of paper. When he's done, they're blank. Then he destroys them. When asked what were on the memos he says "information vital to the integrity of the game". So basically he says everything by saying nothing.

I love the haters' letters as it outs them, in public. They are now open to the ridicule they deserve.

I liked the one that mentioned "the students" as if life is all about "OMG, what will the children think!?"

Guess what people.....no one knows what they'll think, but that's ok! Maybe we need to tell our children to toughen up....

The main thought I have that no one has mentioned is.....Who TF would send a letter to a judge in an attempt to influence his decision?

This country has more psychos than we need.

What this teacher could tell her class is that they should never cheat. She should also tell them that sometimes, you can be so good at something (it could be academics, sports, art, etc), that the other people competing with you will make up a negative story to make you look bad and them look better. When they hear a bad story about one of their classmates, they should listen, but also ask themselves if the person telling the story has a reason to lie.

That's actually a really good approach.

My god aside from the first two the rest of these, for and against Brady, are cringe worthy. Berman should get a pay bonus if he had to read through all this dumb crap and subject his brain to losing IQ points.

Dear Judge Berman,

I believe Tom Brady is guilty/innocent because . . . well just because it's obvious. I'm glad I could waste your time.

Sincerely,

Random Idiot That Just Happens to Know Your Address.

The interesting thing is, the authors would all consider themselves to be the Reasonable Man. To me, that's telling.

That would be a fine idea....but the NFL isn't about "The Children" anyway.

I love this one....lol

What idiocy. Moron doesn't even know how to use the word "incredulous." As with most of those letters, even the pro-Brady ones, I find it remarkable these people felt they had something important enough to say that it warranted a letter to the judge. This goofball essentially says, "Damn the details, I want justice!"

Tell that to the reporter who asked Brady "what do we tell the children" or somesuch dumba$$ery.

If someone asked me that questioned, I'd reply with "Who gives a sh*t?" :D
