Rams DT Michael Brockers tells PFT Live that he knew based on the formation that a Marshawn Lynch run was coming on fourth and one.

Did the Rams cheat by taping the Seahawks walkthrough before the game? We don't know, and we shouldn't have to wonder. It couldn't have been coaching and watching game film. What should be their punishment?

I saw several Rams personnel with bits of garbage all over their clothes before the game.

Ben Roethlisberger was quoted as saying, "it looked like they were in the Seahawks' huddle out there." The NFL could not be reached for comment.

ESPN's Chris Mortenson reports that Mike Martz emerged from his cabin in Idaho to tell him that the Rams have motion-sensitive cameras in every St. Louis hotel ballroom. In addition to hours of wedding receptions, Bar Mitzvahs, and retirement seminars, the Rams have video of the Seahawks walk through. Mortenson also reported that Mike Martz is finishing a life-size sculpture of Ted Kaczynski made entirely from Martz's hair and fingernails.

Mort was unavailable for comment.

That's the only explanation. Or they stole the game plan from the locker room. Film study doesn't explain knowing what they're probably going to do in a formation or situation.

All major networks without exception have reported that the Rams did in fact tape the Seahawks practice.

A guy name Mortensone just confirmed the report. FACT

That's the byproduct of all these ridiculous accusations: People forget (or ignore) that all teams study film and look for tendencies based personnel, formation, down and distance, etc. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Even if you do that, it doesn't guarantee things will work out the way you expect. Non-Patriots fans will dismiss this story based on the source, but I remember Belichick talking about preparing for a game against the Ravens in 2004. The Patriots coaching staff noticed that, based on how the right tackle lined up, it tipped off if the play was a run or a pass. He lined up one way, it was always a run. He lined up a different way, it was always a pass. So they based their defensive game plan based on this "tell." In pre-game warm ups, the Baltimore right tackle was injured and ruled out for the game. All of a sudden, the key to the defensive game plan was gone. The Patriots adjusted and won the game 24-3.

its so funny that you guys cheated in a superbowl. So funny. hilarious.

And the dismissive arguments like this thread, just lend proof to blind homerism.

Which is why most teams and fans in the NFL do not like you.

You're a Rams fan on a Pats fan forum posting in a thread that is bathing in sarcasm because of comments made by others about the Pats, like ****head whiner Marshall Faulk and most recently Rapethlisburger and you want to talk about blind homerism?

Most nfl fans would probably hate Rams fans but there isn't many of you left.

Now piss off.

It's so funny at how stupid you are, but that's because your team is always irrelevant.

So sad and pathetic that you last remaining Rams fans cling to a report that was false. The reason why the Rams got beat is because the Pats had a first hand look at them in the regular season and knew they could play with them. Blame Mike Martz for being lazy thinking he could run the same stuff he did 9 weeks earlier. The final score of that game was 24-17 (14-10 at HT) that Warner threw 2 INTs in and they needed to convert 3 third downs on a 7 minute drive to kill the clock and end the game.

Thanks for the insight. So how do you feel about the allegations? Pretty damning. Always respected Fisher despite his dirty dirty antics until now that I found out he's a cheat. Puts a staine on his mediocre career.

Don't forget, this is the guy who was defending the St. Louis Cardinals for illegally hacking another team's database.

In his world: False story about walk through taping = Cheating, permanent stain.
FBI investigation of one company hacking another = No big deal. Just some guys playin' around.

That's just baseball. Hacking computers has been a part of the game since the beginning.

In fairness, with all the stupid cheating allegations that have been made against the Pats, one that's rarely made is that they got the Butler INT play call illegally.
