Rex is just asking for it (Rex on Dion Lewis)

While watching the game on Thurs and watching Lewis run, I noticed that he spins alot upon first contact and kind of runs a bit wildly. I was thinking that this guy is a fumble waiting to happen. Sure enough it happened. I hope he can keep running effectively and not have fumble issues.

There's not much more satisfaction that I get, than after we beat him, especially in a close game, after he's been talking all week and he's got that dumb look on his fat face.

You know, I used to hate him. But I realize what he's about. We're in his head. I like it.

I really don't think Rex is a mean-spirited guy. I think his dad had a little mean streak about him but Rex isn't like that. Hes much more good-natured.

As another poster has said, he is the Foghorn Leghorn of the NFL.

I mean, how bad can a guy be who has hours of video of his wife of 28 years putting her shoes and socks on? Just beyond bizarre.

If asked about this - Lewis should respond: I realize that Lewis is a bit of a common name; if my name was Larry Foote I'm sure that he would remember me.. fondly.

The last time a Pats player made foot jokes about Rex he got benched for a game, so I hope Lewis does his talking on the field. (sans fumbles).

@jeffphowe: Rex Ryan was asked about Dion Lewis today: "I don't think we're gonna focus on that kid. I can't even tell you that kid's name."

I really have grown to enjoy Rex. I'm so glad he's in the division. He's great entertainment and we will definitely miss him someday.

I like Rex ... so I choose to chuckle to whatever he chooses to say ...

I really love watching Belichick and him butt heads - Rex makes us better ... IMO cannot deny that.

Our division regardless of what the talking heads say gets us playoff ready almost every year except 1 or 2.

I say that because our division opponents line play is usually very good .... skill positions is where they have lacked but line play wins the playoffs.

I felt the exact same way. I think I even said OMG don't fumble! right before he did.

I've never been as annoyed by Rex as I have by other coaches who are fakes (Dungy & the Harbaughs, as examples).

Sure Rex's has a big mouth, is not the brightest guy around, & says what he thinks.

But he gets players to play REALLY hard for him. Especially defensive players. In the past it's been great that his offensive players & coaches have been inept. That may no longer be the case, and that's a concern.

I'm happy he isn't with the Jets anymore, him being in Gang Green really made me hate him.. now that he's on the Bills, I'll be rooting for them if we eventually miss/get eliminated from the playoffs (assuming they weren't the ones that knocked us out :D)

This is just Rex being Rex, he knows everyone's name on the Patriots, he is obsessed with this team like no other !

He probably knows BB's shoe size.

I love Rex Ryan (genuinely as a person). I hope he stays in the AFC east forever. Maybe if he gets the sack, he can coach the Dolphins and then retire after that. HAHA.

If there's one guy who can trash talk the Pats and somehow still back it up once in a while, admittedly it's Rex.
Yes. We have to give Rex the respect he deserves . His Jets were a tough out until his last two seasons when the roster imploded. They were no match for Brady and Belichick but tough none the less. Kind of like a blister in those new wing tips you spent a lot of money on but can't return.

One could argue he overstayed his welcome in New Jersey by a season. They were Well coached on defense but at times undisciplined. They remind me of a time when my gym bag had a pair of socks that I had been using for a month or so at the gym and I could smell a funky odor in he back seat of my car. I kind of knew it was the socks but wasn't sure so I gave em a sniff anyway. I didn't really like it. At least not the first time.

So anyway I fully expect he will have his team ready to go like it's their Super Bowl and the Pats will need to put their best foot forward Sunday.

As many here have said, he is entertaining. One thing I do enjoy about him is that he is never boring. There is always going to be some drama.

His game-planning defense-wise is always challenging. Going to be a good game either way.

And yet according to Bills fans, Brady is the disrespectful one, because he dared to... post a picture of himself watching the Bills game.

I don't understand why Buffalo fans would think it would be disrespectful for Brady to watch the Bills game.

Anyways regarding Rex, I like the guy. He talks a lot but I don't think he's mean spirited. He's entertaining and I'm glad he's still in the division.

Be honest, if you could go out drinking with any NFL head coach, wouldn't you pick Rex?

BB. Never got the chance to see or talk to Lombardi (waay before my time). Sharing a couple of brews with BB after signing a partial NDA, would be priceless.

I would totally, 100%, without hesitation pick Belichick. But Rex is a good answer too, and I do agree with your overall impression of him.

Meanwhile Blount is like wtf ... what am I ... nothing?

Yes ... get angry big man ... Colts ran decently on the Bills ... we can do better.
