Alge Crumpler played 52% of the offensive snaps in 2010 at what appeared to be an awfully similar weight to what Williams is listed at right now. There's definitely a role in the offense for that kind of player.
The Crump was 6-2 275. Williams is bigger but same kinda person I guess.

Bill likes those big beefy TEs that can wail on OLBs and DBs

Just don't know what the plan is for him. TE or OT.

Or?

I think the plan is "And."

Yea but I do think it kinda depends once hes here for a bit. Clearly the short term plan is both. Could be the long term on as well.

His flexibility is huge though. God forbid if a T goes down, hes a backup. a blocker like Gronk goes down  he can come in on running plays as Chandler is not as strong in that area.

RUN JONES GRAY

to your next NFL destination. Sincere best wishes.

Lots of things happen during the year, primarily because of injuries, and PUP related transactions, but I have always considered the Game 2 roster as the roster to "start" the year, the roster after the juggling associated with the "final" 53 and the signing of the Practice Squad.

We could have a Practice Squad promotion, but it seems as if we are set for now.

For me, Watson and Wilson seem to be at the bottom of the roster, and most subject to being waived.
