i watched the game and on his runs he took hits and looked like a one-read QB. If you want to survive in the AFC East you have to be a pocket passer
In the pre-season he read defenses. But you are right, yesterday it was one read, except on broken plays. But I think that was the game plan like I said, they kept it pretty simple.

We loathe NE and everything about your team. The Bills will be coming with a vengeance and a taste for blood and revenge.

Doesn't your team do that every year though? Or is this the year they finally decided "we're not going to take it anymore?"

Even if you win this early season game, we all know who will be the team playing in January and contending for the SB. Just ask Dolphins fans, they know. ;)

One thing I forgot to address; empty Stadium?? It was packed, over 70,000 attending. WTF are you people talking about?

And anyone taking week 17 last year seriously is kind've, well, dumb

It's not difficult reading defenses in the pre-season because most play vanilla.

Agreed. Like I said, we don't know yet really about TT. First game was a success. Bills don't need him to be Tom Brady though, we just need him top control the game and let the defense win some games for us.

simple can't beat the Patriots

Bills have so many play makers, he just needs to get the ball in their hands. Early the Colts decided to double Sammy, so Taylor hit Harvin on a 51 yard TD. Double the WR's and Clay is a sure handed pretty quick TE and you guys know Robert Woods is a very good slot WR. Between Karlos Williams, Shady and Taylor, the bills have options to run as well.

Stopping the Bills offense will not be a cake walk this year.

I agree. Bills maybe the most talented team, but as you know that means nothing without a QB. My guess is BB really focuses on shutting down Shady in screens and dumpoffs and forcing Taylor to beat us deep. It will be a fun game

LOL, so the smart guys decided that beating a team which we demolished last yr by 10 points earned the right to troll here. Yeah,PLEASE, b1tches.

Dating myself here but back in 1985 the Celtics played the Cavs in the 1st round of the playoffs. Bird was struggling with a badly bruised shooting elbow and because they were up 2-0, KC decided to rest him for Game 3. The Cavs won that game and at the end were chanting, "We-Want-Bird...We-Want Bird....." I remember thinking to myself, 'What a bunch of idiots'.

Larry put up like 35/15/8 or something like that in Game 4. Series ovah.

Brady certainly has that ability to will his team to victory.

Wow, I've heard Buffalo fans this brash before - in 03 after waxing the Pats 31-0 in the season opener, in 11 after beating the Pats to go 3-0, and in 08 when they started out 4-0. Every season they missed the playoffs while the Pats won the SB in 03, went to the SB in 11, and beat Buffalo twice in 08 WITH A BACKUP QUARTERBACK en route to an 11-5 record....when was the last time Buffalo saw 11-5?????
Who knows, maybe the Pats go to Buffalo and lose. Maybe they go up there in blow out Buffalo. It's f#cking September and fans of ANY team need to pump the brakes with the hubris....lest we forget, the Super Bowl 49 Champion New England Patriots went to Kansas City and got smoked. The media proclaimed the "dynasty over" and we all know what happened.
Guarantee if Buffalo wins Sunday we'll hear all the predictable stuff - changing of the guard, Ryan is in Brady's head, etc....Brady vs Rex Ryan defenses since he became Baltimore DC in 05:
14 games, 317-534, 25 TDs, 8 INTs, 90.13 QB rating

so you saying it was like cakewalkinh in the past? TB vs Bills, the record was like 22-3.......man, I wonder how many wins were contributed by Friztpicks. Every one thinks Pats are arrogant. But they do not think anything of Bills. They think of bafullo wings

If we can beat the Bills like we usually do, I would feel very optimistic about facing any other defense in the league. They won't be able to stop us

Still, I'm taking the Bills pretty serious here. They haven't been this legit good in years.

The only piece they're missing is a proven QB. And that's big...

Yeah, their HC is the living legend so I heard. Likes to put his foot in his mouth or someone else's

I am not sure what you mean here? Pats vs Bills have usually been pretty lopsided affairs, no one doubting that. Once in a while the Bills put up a fight. We have been two wins on your year, every damn year. I am pretty sick of it for sure.

Exactly and while I wasn't around for that circumstance, this is 100x that. Why are people forgetting the FU tour that is in effect? It will be tough no doubt and a real good early season test. I will say this, I'm happy it wasn't week one. They get a mini bye, plus get some extra early season rest plus game planning and film study.

The Bills better watch what they ask for. Also, this AFCE won all games is a bit overrated. The Bills beat an average Colts team, but still they did. The others, please. The Browns and Skins? Please.

Rex will get them and the crowd in a frenzy. Just need to weather the storm for a bit early.

The Bills offense has some playmakers and Watkins was targeted 3 times yesterday and came up empty. I don't see that happening again.

Pats D needs to be better vs the run and pass this week.

Always seems like young passers do well vs the Pats their 1st time...
