Last season was running and throwing on the run, and it paid huge dividends. If I'm right, the dividends of this years work will be even greater.

In the opener, the Pat's interior OL kept getting pushed back. Although this is usually Brady's kryptonite, he showed both good touch and accuracy on several throws that he couldn't step into. I think this is the aspect of his game that he focused on this past offseason. If he improved as much as it appeared in this area, his biggest weakness (interior pressure) will be seriously reduced. Combined with his improved running, throwing on the run and how quickly he's getting rid of the ball, he won't be taking many hits this season, unless the line completely falls apart.

This bodes well for Brady's longevity and performance. I predict that he will be sacked less, have a higher completion %, and a better TD/INT ratio than last year. Besides just improving Brady's numbers, I think this will also improve the offense's TOP, 3rd down conversion % and yards/game. IMO, this will be the most significant offseason improvement in Brady's career.

Does anyone suspect a different aspect that he worked on this offseason?

Whether he wanted to work on it or not, his mental toughness and compartmentalization got a serious workout. Fortunately, people (NFL/Media/Haters) always seem to underestimate his mental fortitude/resilience.

I think that if you love people, your mental fortitude and resilience will be tested more and more the older you get. I suspect that Brady is tough enough to eventually meet his end with his soul intact and chin held high.

You're not saying this because you are old, are you :p (j/k).

You would hope people would get that way, but Brady is a step above many in this regard.

As others have said, maintaining the mobility that he seemed to gain is key. Leg strength and arm strength as well.

It's no easy task. Life hits ****ing hard. I truly wish society would put a priority on teaching our children to overcome life's greatest challenges, but we instead focus on training them to be productive workers. The cost of teaching our kids avoidance and to bury negative emotions is far greater than the profit generated by simply training future employees. The short-sighted nature of our capitalist society leaves most citizens woefully unequipped to deal with life's greatest challenges.

It's my thread and I'll derail it if I want to. :p

Just reiterating what has already been said, but his foot speed and mobility was much improved last year and looks to be as good or even better now.

rumor has it he has been working on that chip on his shoulder.... It was growing so big, he had to split it in two to distribute the weight evenly. I feel bad for our opponents this year. well actually, no I don't.

Easy, everything. Check his commercial as proof:D

I believe he worked on getting used to a stiffer ball :p

What game were you watching?
The Patriots 2015 season opener. There were numerous passes where the interior line was pushed back and Brady couldn't step into his throw.

How to call plays using only his two middle fingers.

Brady thought there was a major attempt to disturb the force this off season. On a phone call with Edelman he said to Tom that "I am concerned because it surrounds us and penetrates us Tom. It binds the Patriots together". Gronk agreed and stated "I felt a great disturbance in the force, as if millions of Patriot fans suddenly cried out in terror, and were threatened with silence when Goodell appointed himself to hear the appeal."

Belichick called a meeting and said "a Patriot's strength flows from the Force and the Force flows from you Tom ... The Force has a "Dark side", which feeds off emotions such as anger, jealousy, fear, lust, and hate, but the Patriot players are only supposed to use the Force for peaceful purposes such as winning Super Bowls" Energized by the speech Tom spent the offseason building his inner strength to let the Force flow from his leadership ...

To be continued ...

Obviously he worked on how to lie, cheat and pay off judges and laywers to cover it up.
