I've only shed one tear in the last 20 years.....

but this was pretty damn close. Damn close. Outstanding piece.

OMG!!

Robert Kraft was in on it!!

See 1:02 into the program. Jonathan Kraft is shown coming into an office with Robert seated. Right between the two, behind them on a table is a bag of Dorito's, in plain sight !!

The boss is a Dorito Dink.

This proves it.

No. They talked about how the Pats had practiced that play, not only with Butler, but with Chung and a couple other players being in Butler's position. In the film they showed, the WR across from Browner didn't get jammed so he was able to rub off the trailing defender.. In the game, Browner DID jam the WR and jammed him long enough for Butler to stay with Lockette and make the interception..

I know but in the practice play the receivers were lined up way further apart. Regardless, it was a great play because when Browner jammed his receiver it forced the other receiver to have to go around him giving Butler that split second to get there in time.

Amazing TV....best I have ever seen sports wise

I didn't notice those pink stripes in Ernie Adam's office. What's that all about?
The words "Pink stripes" were written on the corner of an otherwise empty white board behind Adams. No doubt it was intentional, perhaps some sort of prank on him.

Not mentioned yet, and a part I especially liked, was discussing the preparation for the AFCCG against the Colts. They talked about how they pounded Indy using Jonas Gray and a 6 man O-line in the regular season blowout.

Somebody then said (maybe it was Fears?) something like (paraphrasing): so you'd think that we would use a similar game plan for the rematch. Actually, no, it wasn't just a similar game plan, it was THE SAME GAME PLAN. We were going to run it until they stopped it!

Then they showed the Solder tackle eligible play, off the six man line, flipping which guy that was lined up on which end reported as eligible. Solder caught the TD, unguarded. Brilliant!

Hey -- just catching up today.

My one biggest take away from the show was how impressive the coaches are. They seem like solid, hard-working guys. Here they are coaching on the Patriots, whose every move is a major story. They seem completely unfazed by and unconcerned about the spotlight. Nor do they wilt under it. They just seem to exist and thrive in their own world. And I loved Ernie's "we're a closed shop" comment.

The best part was the ineligible recover formations and now they are illegal. That is just such a load of ******** I can't even deal. It was absolutely brilliant and a butthurt crybaby like Harbaugh leads the charge to get it banned? Eff him. He should NEVER live that down.
How petty and small and embarrassed must the Ravens coaching staff feel after watching that? Just knowing the other team was better and smarter and more prepared than you and all you could do is cry about it. If I'm the fan of 31 other NFL teams I'm counting down the days until BB retires.

At first I thought you were kidding.

For curiosity's sake...........I had to look.

There it was. A bag of Doritos behind Bob.

THAT IS SO F-ING AWESOME.

I actually no BS remember that play. I remember thinking WTF is Edelman doing or is DA on drugs? What's this waving sh*t? Then Lafell broke for the TD and I thought, wow maybe he can be a decent receiver. Had zero idea it was supposed to be a double pass play.

Anyway that whole show was incredible. Slap in the face to the "they have to cheat to win" crowd.
It was amazing how the one coach mentioned the Butterfly Effect of that play.

Had DA not waved him off they would have put that play on film for the first time in 10 years and they either would not have bothered to use it in Balto or Balto would have had a much greater chance of stopping it and no way Pats beat Balto without that play sparking them.

Talk about the devil in the details.

Like others have said, thanks for posting the link. Awesome viewing.

Wow, that was amazing. Great job by NFL films.

Just watched it, and I loved it! What I really, really loved is that it was all about the coaches and front office. I love the players. But we see them all the time. The coaches on the other hand are rarely seen during the season, and when they are they purposely don't say much. Here we got to see them talking freely about the game they love, and one of their greatest accomplishment. Gug came across greatly!

Wow, just wow. I just watched it and it was amazing.

Sherlock Holmes is looking for a new assistant. Perhaps you can take up the job.

Watching this for the 8th time. Unbelievably awesome...
