There's a video on NFL.com and the connectors for the equipment is visible in the background, it was fully open and exposed to the weather.

So the obvious fix would be to build a bit of housing for the connectors so they're covered.

Wait, we have actually have a "frequency coordinator"?

Well at least the review was fast. Hope the Steelers are through embarrassing themselves for one 24 hour period.

Also, by my count Fisher, Payton, McCarthy, Marvin Lewis, O'Brien, Pope Dungy (?!?!), even Sanchize have said, in one way or another, that radio problems aren't exclusive to New England. Guess Michael Silver's HOT TAKE that Tomlin's whining was a sign THAT THE LEAGUE HAD ENOUGH OF THE PATRIOT'S NEFARIOUS COMPETENCE AT PLAYING FOOTBALL wasn't so hot of a take.

Steelers owe the Patriots an apology. Their website flat out lied about what happened last night. Not sure if anyone caught it as I haven't fully read the thread..

The Pittsburgh website said that the problem would miraculously go away when NFL personnel got to the Patriots side and them come back when they returned to the Pittsburgh side.. Totally contradicts everything else we've heard..

I'm making my O face.

Which is probably the stupidest conspiracy claim I've ever heard. What, does BB have some giant switch on the bench that he heaves to "OFF" the moment he 'senses' a league official coming by? It's even dumber than the idea that Dink was deflating the balls ON THE SIDELINES.

One thing we know for certain that Jeff Howes Tweet and the NFL's "official" explanation will only be run once at BSPN and likely never be heard again. Meanwhile spurious allegations of the Pats' cheating ways will be aired every 15 minutes.....and so it continues

You don't think the league could have announced this last night and gotten out in front of it? Ninja, please.

Of COURSE they had to let the media and haters take it and run with it for 18+ hours first.

Yeah, it's great that the NFL "let us off the hook" on this one but you know damn well they enjoyed seeing us squirm and get our jimmies rustled for a little while first.

Clearly this is the NFL covering up for their marquee franchise. Goodell is protecting the Pats from unjustified criticism because he and Kraft are so close. Goodell is a good man with good intentions. Or at least that's what Bob Costa says and that's just the way he rolls.:D

So for clarification:

Weather & Communication Issues : Absolutely more probable than not.

Weather & Ball Inflation Issues: Absolutely Impossible.

Weather & ToiletGate: Don't go there - no problems since 1971.

Bah.. its just the NFL trying to look reasonable and regain some credit about these things.

Kind of like a crazy-ex girlfriend who suddenly stops crying and starts talking calmly and reasonably after chasing you around the house for an hour with an oversied kitchen knife and screaming about you not refilling the icetrays back up with water to her preferred proportions.

The NFL does, yes. You want someone monitoring the frequency so no one can jam it during the game or so that the other team can't hear the other team's communications....or to resolve a problem like the radio broadcast bleeding into the Steelers headsets.

messed up the Blues Brothers quote...

There was an earthquake!
A terrible flood!
Locusts!
